RIP Seamus you are one in a million a fantastic flute player.
The tone is so strong, such rythm. It's absolutely superb. Important tales of flutes. Thanks for posting
I hear the similarity in your playing! So wonderful to have had great teachers.
You know he's a serious flute player when he has holsters to carry them
Excellent 👌 THANK YOU 🌟😀👍🏆💯
Thank you for the music R I P
One of the first trad CDs I bought was Seamus' "Easter Snow" album. That must have been about 1997/98. 15 track of amazing flute playing. It remains one of my favourites. RIP
He sure climbed the mountain, he certainly spent time at the bog. He's now playing tunes to the angelsAnd on the bodhran none other than God.
He produced a great sound along with some others now largely forgotten. R I P
Look how far he has got the tuning slide pulled out on that flute.
Effortless playing from the great man 👍😊😊
Enchanting music
You’re music is magic Seamus it takes me home to Gurteen Love it ☘️☘️☘️ Mulligan76
"I mightn't look as well..... but at least...... I feel better"
Incomparable spring in his fingers.

Grand story teller as well. Tommy McGann saw my photo of him and he said , this man is the best.
Powerful playing...They'll never be another Séamus Tansey...Go hiontach ar fad...
Guys check out Martha Guiney , Seamus taught her, And she is incredible!

What was the first tune? I know that I once knew and played, but don't remember!
It's called The Burren, or Josie McDermott's
