I'm in tears right now.... two weeks ago my grandpa had a heart attack. He's my world... his health is going down hill so quickly. He's only 63. He's been a great father figure for me when my dad was gone or in jail. He helps me so much to be successful in this stressful world. Not being able to see him everyday would crush me. I'm only 14 y/o there is so much more I need to experience with my Papa. I'm terrified I won't be able to be given away or dance with him in my wedding; or even my quince. Ever since I could remember I would sit down with him and listen to songs I could dance with him to. There is so many... so many reminders if I lose him. So many hours spent watching movies; from black and white to colored. So many meanings and tears behind each movie I cherish with him. I should've spent more time with him... so much time wasted when I was out with friends or doing sports. I could've called when I was away... but I didn't. Now all I can do is give him a hug and kiss and say "Bye Papa, I love you" every time I leave the house. Terrified it'll be the last time I see him. I've always made sure the last thing I do was say those words to him when either one of us leave because you never when it's the last time you see someone. Now it breaks my heart. I don't want to cry in front of him. I don't want it to be the last time I say goodbye. Today when I left I was trying to talk to him as much as possible before walking out that door. I wanted to keep hugging him and telling him I loved him to almost make up for the times I didn't. I wish I didn't stress him out like I do. I can't forgive myself for what's happening. I know no one is going to read all of this or even glance at my comment but this song really hits me hard. I just thought maybe I should type this out instead of being trapped with my thoughts. I will pray for him, all of you, and your families. This pain is something no one should have to experience.
