@@neil340 This game is over 30. And it was my favorite when it first came out. Supplanted Kings Quest as my favorite video game. Wasn't beaten until Mario 64.
Okay I gotta know karls techniques of finding stuff like this. Did he just search up every puzzle game he could think of or something? Honestly think this should get more views. Yeah this isn't like modern games at all and is a game with moon logic but the fact you are able to run it so well and be informative the whole time is insane. Glad Karl sent me your way and hope it brings you an audience.
He said he was a puzzle game and point and click fan and QFG series is some of the best ones out there. He also said the first QFG is one of his favorites so he probably just searched for it. I’ve seen speed runs of all the QFG games before his video. Glad he gave a spotlight to this game and series as they are fantastic games that allow you to import your character to the future games.
Karl got me here! I love QFG, I used to start thief then import into 2 become a mage and by the time I get to 5 I'm a thief mage paladin lol. I don't know if that is still possible, I have not tried it recently. Thank you for explaining everything you do
Great word, I agree. Stephen Spielberg references this in a DVD feature somewhere saying his name means play mountain and connects it to paramount in Raiders in the introduction of the film.
Also got here from Karl. This run was phenomenal, I can barely play Minecraft while talking nonsense on vc, nevermind pull this off O_O. Also beautiful looking game.
Heh, this is pretty much the first adventure game that i sat down to complete, back when it was new.... I drew my own map of the forest and solved everything the hard way. It pretty much took me the same number of days as minutes were taken here.
I like when speed runners explain what's going on.
Karl send me here
I, too, was sent by Karl.
Aito Päiväkirja me to
This was totally worth it, Karl is bae
David has every world record for every category of this game. David OWNS this game.
yes but how many people are playing 20 year old games?
@@neil340 20 years? I think Mario 64 is the number one speed game still is it not?
math must not be your best subject

Razzledazzlerootbeer !!! One of my favourite games as a kid. We spent hours raking leaves to make money....
Quest for Glory 1 - 3 were my favorite games back then. I spent so much time on them, fun to see game solved in few minutes :-)
Perfect commentary!
Amazing video! Love your work.

Beating the game without telling the hut of brown to please sit down? Triggered.
Agreed
I know man. This game influenced me man.
Ha, just realized the name of the town, Spielburg, translates literally from German as “game castle”
