My goodness, it has changed so much! I came to Sparsholt to do animal care and management in 1999-2000. There was 1 small reptile room and a small rodent room! My autistic son loves reptiles and would love to come to Sparsholt when he's older, but he won't do a course without me. Having watched this, I'm excited to return (with my son) to do the courses again. Well done Sparsholt, what an excellent college you are!
Hello! I'm coming to this school this September, I have a couple of questions though, I was wondering if you'd answer them? 1. Will you be told when you have to bring in different uniform (the jumpsuit thingy or polo) for handling animals? 2. What was it like? I'm really nervous, as I have to stay until my bus will pick me up from college. It'll be a long wait, so what would I do in that time? 3. Do you have any advice? like i said I am nervous, It is a big site to get used to. 4. What sort of stuff were you doing? What was the regular week look like for you?
@@orkime2252 I didn't but I got accepted into the wildlife ecology and conservation, also at HE not the college. It's very good and a nice campus and the tutors are passionate and know a lot
As an ex student myself, I can highly suggest this. The lecturers are very approachable and instructive, they gave me an incredible level of knowledge over my time there. There is plenty of practical knowledge and skills throughout the course, just keep in mind that if you choose to continue on to a university level past this, you will have no practical experience, and will be entirely science-based. Overall I treasure my two years at sparsholt college, and wish I could be back there
Great video, and a good insight into the college my son is joining and staying at on campus in September.
I am coming in September and this gave me an insight into the things I could be doing. Thank you
Same just waiting for my confirmation email tomorrow after results very excited

I hope to come here in September next year. I want to work with animals and this looks great as well as volunteering opportunities!
