Must appreciate even though you are very young still you love and appreciate shorrwave listening while ppl of your generation are chasing the Internet and FM. You seem to be a man hungry for knowledge . There is nothing like receiving radio signals from far off lands which is like reading Geography. Keep it up. You should also tell your viewers about HAM radio which can be received on SSB.
Thank you Niladri ji. Yes, people of my age seldom care about Radio, let alone Shortwave listening. I will try to dive into the Ham Radio stuff, I haven't explored SSB on this Radio; but yes that's one thing for sure for future. Thanks again.
Let me tell you what I used to listen to in the SW roughly from 1995- 2010 (first with father's PHILIPS JAWAN and later with KCHIBO) 1. BBC world service 2. BBC Hindi and Bengali services 3. Radio Deutsch Welle - English, Bengali and all Hindi services (from Cologne and lateron from Bonn) 4. Vividh Bharati 5. AIR IMPHAL and Kohima 6. VOA - English, Bengali and Hindi services. 7. CRI The world has changed a lot with the coming on of the smartphones. But my romance with and fascination for SW broadcast is still there. Going back to the radio. Just waiting for a decent set ❤ Parvinderji you are doing a great job. Don't lose heart, keep up the good work.
In my opinion, Indian government should install a strong shortwave at par with VOA, BBC etc so that Indian programs can be heard all over the world and also more radio stations in Indian borders for information and protection of our country. Short waves are the only radio waves which have the capacity to reach anywhere. Thank you. Your information and narration is very good. Please continue your videos.

Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, SLBC Radio Ceylon subah 6 se 8 tak Hindi me prasaran karta hai jo 25 metre par 11905 KHz par aata hai. Aapne 7.30 se 8.30 bataya jabki sahi time subah 6 to 8 hai.
Ji, ab wapas 6 se 8 karne lag gaye hon to alag baat hai warna kuch din pahle tak to wo 7:30 se 8 hi kar rahe the. Wo baat alag hai ki wo mobile app par 6 se 8 dete hain.

Radio Farda मेरा प्रिय station है। जो कि मुझे 2007 में पता चला था। उन दिनों में कॉलेज में था और मुझे sw radio stations explore करना बड़ा ही पसंद था। उनके music aur गाने की गहराई, विविधता और सुंदरता का कोई तोड़ नही इस दुनिया में। कानो को बहुत पसंद आता है। उन दिनों तो फारसी पॉप song ke साथ साथ English hit pop songs bhi आते थे। अभी तो सिर्फ फारसी song ही आते हैं। यह मैं एक बात बताना चाहूंगा कि सन 2000 से 2008 में बने फारसी पॉप songs और old songs काफ़ी जड़ा बेहतरीन थे। अपने स्वर्णिम इतिहास की तरह। Radio farda Radio Liberty group का part हैं जिसका station Czech republic कि राजधानी Prague में हैं और ये US government funded हैं। इस रेडियो स्टेशन पर फारसी news भी हर आधे घण्टे में आती हैं और बाकी टाइम पे songs आते हैं।
Parvinder ji ,good morning, in 70s and 80s I used to tune AIR urdu service on short wave 49 n 31 mtr band. But now urdu service has disappeared from medium wave 422.4. It is available on 270mw. I would like to know if urdu services AIR is available on short wave. One more thing in olden time vividh bharti and ceylone were touch stone of a good radio reception. I purchased some radios for me and my relatives(on marriage occasions) I just tuned these during day time and purchased with the receptions I judged the radio and those were nice enough. But now all has changed. Kindly tell me to recieve all india radio urdu service and vividh bharti reception (without internet)on Terrestrial front. Thanks for indepth knowledge of radio reciever.

Yes Niladri ji, but I have purposefully not gone into technical details for a reason; sometimes you have to be artistic to thrill the audience who are mostly simple people with no technical background. But, so nice of you for this additional information.
You can receive HAM radio signals on SSB besides HAM you can also receive Pirate radio stations and I have an old Sony digital radio which receives signals from South American outlaws from countries like Colombia ,Peru ,Lima ,Venezuela but thesec are brief bursts of conversations and they keep on changing their frequencies to avoid detection by the police and you can hear all these on SSB and your XHDATA can also pick up these signals.

सर, मैंने मार्च 2024 में एक 3 बैंड का रेडियो खरीदा है। SW1, SW2, MW लेकिन sw1 और sw2 में vividh Bharti, all in india radio, Ceylon station ईत्यादि नहीं पकड़ता है। और भी बहुत सारे आकाशवाणी हिन्दी स्टेशन नहीं पकड़ता है। क्या इस रेडियो की गैंग ही खराब है ? कृपया करके जरूर बताएँ 🙏🙏

2. BBC Hindi and Bengali services
3. Radio Deutsch Welle - English, Bengali and all Hindi services (from Cologne and lateron from Bonn)
4. Vividh Bharati
5. AIR IMPHAL and Kohima
6. VOA - English, Bengali and Hindi services.
7. CRI
The world has changed a lot with the coming on of the smartphones. But my romance with and fascination for SW broadcast is still there.
Going back to the radio. Just waiting for a decent set ❤

In my opinion, Indian government should install a strong shortwave at par with VOA, BBC etc so that Indian programs can be heard all over the world and also more radio stations in Indian borders for information and protection of our country. Ji, ab wapas 6 se 8 karne lag gaye hon to alag baat hai warna kuch din pahle tak to wo 7:30 se 8 hi kar rahe the. Wo baat alag hai ki wo mobile app par 6 se 8 dete hain.

Radio Farda मेरा प्रिय station है। जो कि मुझे 2007 में पता चला था। उन दिनों में कॉलेज में था और मुझे sw radio stations explore करना बड़ा ही पसंद था। उनके music aur गाने की गहराई, विविधता और सुंदरता का कोई तोड़ नही इस दुनिया में। कानो को बहुत पसंद आता है। उन दिनों तो फारसी पॉप song ke साथ साथ English hit pop songs bhi आते थे। अभी तो सिर्फ फारसी song ही आते हैं।
यह मैं एक बात बताना चाहूंगा कि सन 2000 से 2008 में बने फारसी पॉप songs और old songs काफ़ी जड़ा बेहतरीन थे। अपने स्वर्णिम इतिहास की तरह।
Radio farda Radio Liberty group का part हैं जिसका station Czech republic कि राजधानी Prague में हैं और ये US government funded हैं। इस रेडियो स्टेशन पर फारसी news भी हर आधे घण्टे में आती हैं और बाकी टाइम पे songs आते हैं।

Parvinder ji ,good morning, in 70s and 80s I used to tune AIR urdu service on short wave 49 n 31 mtr band. But now urdu service has disappeared from medium wave 422.4. It is available on 270mw. I would like to know if urdu services AIR is available on short wave. One more thing in olden time vividh bharti and ceylone were touch stone of a good radio reception. I purchased some radios for me and my relatives(on marriage occasions) I just tuned these during day time and purchased with the receptions I judged the radio and those were nice enough. But now all has changed. Kindly tell me to recieve all india radio urdu service and vividh bharti reception (without internet)on Terrestrial front. Thanks for indepth knowledge of radio reciever.

Yes, indeed, those were the golden times. Urdu service is no more, on SW. Mostly it is heard on MW 1071 kHs from a transmitter in Gujrat (directed towards Arab countries and Pakistan).

Yes Niladri ji, but I have purposefully not gone into technical details for a reason; sometimes you have to be artistic to thrill the audience who are mostly simple people with no technical background. But, so nice of you for this additional information.
You can receive HAM radio signals on SSB besides HAM you can also receive Pirate radio stations and I have an old Sony digital radio which receives signals from South American outlaws from countries like Colombia ,Peru ,Lima ,Venezuela but thesec are brief bursts of conversations and they keep on changing their frequencies to avoid detection by the police and you can hear all these on SSB and your XHDATA can also pick up these signals.

Yeh bhi ho sakta hai aap building wagarah mein rahte hain aur signals kamjor hon. Khidaki se roshandan se ya roof se ek taar la kar Radio ke antenna se jod kar dekhein. Baaki maine ye model use nahi kiya hai to jyada kah nahin sakta.

Ceylon station ईत्यादि नहीं पकड़ता है।
और भी बहुत सारे आकाशवाणी हिन्दी स्टेशन नहीं पकड़ता है।

SW par ab Vividh Bharati aur All India Radio ke pahle wali Hindi services hain hi nahin to pakdega kaise. Haan, 25 m band par subah 7:30 to 8 baje tak 'Radio Ceylon' jarur pakdega.

Shortwave per stations catch nhi ho rahey. Mere pass XH Data-368 radio set he.
Shayad iss radio ki signal catching power d-808 jitni nahin hogi ya aap building etc mein cities mein rahte honge. Ek video bana raha hoon jahan har band par better signal reception ka jikar hoga.
