When playing music, especially low-end frequencies anything in front of the speaker (fabric, plastic grille, metal) provides a surface for the sound to reflect off and dulls the crispness of the reproduction. This is why you want to place speakers away from walls and floors. Allowing the fabric to flex passes through or absorbs any energy which would otherwise be reflected and muddy the sound. The only better option to this would be no cover at all. Fortunately, it's also removable.
You can't get an idea of a speaker's sound quality through RUclips, that's all in vain. But I can assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised with Eneby anyway.
