I have the same Ingersoll Compressor. I really wish I could fine my heating problem also and why it shuts down after 15 minutes. I removed all the metal panelling for it to cool better but still shut down. I’m starting to think that my problem is the inlet valve. Keep on making videos I really appreciate it
I'm a generator mechanic from Chicago and have been wanting to make videos like this and you give me inspiration, keep them up and maybe you'll be watching mine soon
jaymoney119966 it's so fun doing these videos I make no money doing them solely just a hobby for me if you get into it you'll enjoy it! And I will definitely watch your channel if you create content!😁
I like these compressors. I did a job a while back in Campbellsville Kentucky at The Ingersoll rand plant doing all the electrical work I got too watch The assembly of multiple Ingersoll rand compressors its a pretty cool place
We worked primarily on Quincy compressors, but we worked on others as you do. On one call I was working on a QSI-235 . This machines components are mounted on a steel skid. The floor dry was at the level of the top of the skid the hole comp.end of the skid, and the skid is probably 8 inches high.😳 Thanks for your video!
hey benny , another good one ..... it's great to see the videos coming again ...keep it up ..... love to watch someone good at what they do , and keep trying to do better ....... thanks for the great videos bud .......
Lloyd .Haight thanks man I appreciate that right now I'm working on the wobbliest scissor lift in the world at a Walmart video will come soon tomorrow need to get supplies to finish the job

Good video I'm working on one I'm my shop. Same symptoms save for the breather isn't wet its the tiny blue like that's quick connect on one end and compression fitting on the other. Pre filter is Definetly restricted.
Everybody's comments are so greatly appreciated I'm glad you all enjoy my channel it's far beyond nice to know that my work and my effort to make these videos is worth it!!
Hi benny I run a lngersol rand 7/41 towable compressor for sand blasting army tanks my guys told me today it was real hot and wasn’t pushing air. Surprise surprise no oil showing on the sight tube just a yellow froth. What’s my chances of putting oil in it tomorrow and it functioning.
nick mead 50/50 lol But in all seriousness as long as your thermal valve is operational and the cooler is clean and the oil isn’t old adding oil should fix it if all you have is a heating issue. HOWEVER a question I would ask myself is WHY is there little to no oil in the unit. Did it leak out? Is the separate filter old allowing oil to pass out the unit. Or was service done to it and not enough oil put in to begin with? So my best advice is dig deeper into your problem rather than just putting a band aid on it so to speak. GOOD LUCK!
Benny CompTech well benny I got early and more as a clean through I put nearly a gallon of hydronic oil in the compressor and started her up. I seemed to get plenty of air and sprayed some engine decking so I think we may have possibly got away with it ,time will tell. Monday I will run it till it’s hot and change the oil with the proper type and check the old oil for debris fingers crossed.
nick mead I wouldn’t recommend putting hydraulic fluid in a Compressor for lubricant lol but if it worked for now and your in a pinch I guess but be aware mixing oils can come with some bad consequences I’ve seen where mixing oils in a Compressor and having the two liquids run at high temperatures caused them to crystallize and destroy the air-end (the part of the Compressor that actually compresses the air)
Derrick Chua no sorry man I’m currently not in the industry anymore but I would advise you to have a professional come and look at the VSD as some of these warnings can be very serious problem that could lead to fire hazards and total loss of the VSD and or equipment
Tell me this compressor model number up 5_11ctas_8 all details and all fault solved vedio and my one problem is compressor over heating system is same time Trip.
We have this unit at work and have this exact same issue, plus a potential overheating issue. We have serviced it recently but have not replaced the minimum pressure valve. Also, our recirc valve has always been a little wet with oil. Any idea where we can get the parts list so we can order these parts?
parveen sharma sorry I don’t handle parts I just right up the model number and serial number on the units I work on and our company has a parts department that pulls all our parts for our techs.
Pretty typical buried can't get air and wear the motor starter out starting it all the time, to cheap to fix it right alot of company;s out there that run them in the ground.
Thanks for replying back to me. I have a ingersoll rand 260cfm air compressor btw I'm in Chicago. The compressor starts with no problem but there's no air coming out when I open the valve. Any suggestions would really appreciate it... Thanks
djveeindahouse check your inlet valve make sure it's actually opening when it's running if the inlet valve doesn't open you won't get any air entering the system.
djveeindahouse if the unit runs and the inlet valve is open check your sump pressure gauge basically it's the gauge that indicates there's actually pressure in the system not down the line and if you have pressure in your sump as the unit is running but no air is coming outside of the machine through the discharge then probably your minimum pressure valve is stuck closed

Hi Benny, do you know how to rectify the problem of XE-90M VSD Controller alarm & warning codes for VSD fault 7
Derrick Chua no sorry man I’m currently not in the industry anymore but I would advise you to have a professional come and look at the VSD as some of these warnings can be very serious problem that could lead to fire hazards and total loss of the VSD and or equipment
Most IR compressors leak

Paul Muskopf you call ingersollrand directley
I'm in garden Grove . Can u come fix my kaeser sk19?
I have the same compressor and its passing oil through outlet, what could this be?
Glenns Customs out the discharge where the air leaves the unit or through the air filter?
@@bennycomptech3939 where the air leaves the unit. Runs for about 10 minutes and shuts down.
Glenns Customs replace your separator filter and the scavenge check valve
Those parts are what’s causing the oil to bypass the unit but while your at it might as well service the unit as well
@@bennycomptech3939 thank you Benny will do and let you know the results.
Dear sir,
Can u provide the part no of air end seal of compressor model IR UP-11c
