Today I take a look at another Hasbo Pulse HASLAB project. Transformers Legace Haslab Deathsaurus. The main antagonist for the Japanese Anime, Transformers Victory.

When I was younger I used to think that Deathsaurus was an upgraded version of Soundwave. Upon watching the show. Boy was I wrong😂

Glad you got one of these. I think some of the paint doesn't pop in bot mode and that makes the Bot mode seem meh. The gray seems dull, but the blue and metallic gold look great and I think those two colors help balance the dull gray in space terror chicken mode. It does seem like some corners were cut with paint and especially on the chest for the Breast Beasts (Yes, I just typed that) That spring is unsightly, and if you don't have the critters on it, well, whoop there it is. After being very whelmed with HasLab Star Saber, I went with the MMC version of Deathsaurus (cartoon version, not IDW version0 and I have been pleased with it. Die Cast parts help with that, but that's a me thing. Great breakdown of this bot, as always.

Love the way this figure looks in both modes. Really disappointed Hasbro used cheap plastic for a Haslab. Great ✨️😃 🤘
Yeah. It still feels like an "off the shelf" figure ,if that makes sense.

Great review. Like you I don't have a particular connection to Victory and maybe that's why I'm not as impressed with this Haslab as I am with the HISS tank. Only just started collecting this year and am not collecting gi joe but I was blown away by the HISS. Deathsaurs looks good but to me doesn't seem the be in the same category

Just a note on the packaging, they changed Deathsaurus' to provide better security during shipping. VS had a lot of issues with scratching and general damage during shipping. Though I will agree, a print would've been nice.
