I didn't notice that was a flip trick to executing and landing a different ledge at the right timing of a approving on sessions is looking like Tony Hawk Underground.
12:29 with the flip manny flip my game just doesn’t register any of them if tried all variations of flips to manny and nose manny flips out but none of them work. Does anyone know why that might be?
when you do the final flip out, make sure you are letting go of your sticks as soon as you flick. if you are still holding them when you land, you register a small manual and it cancels out the challenge
Still sitting at 4750exp and unable to find any more missions. Have found about 4 or 5 that weren't in my log menu even after talking to the npc, mostly in blubbas and highline bridge. Wondering if there's more of these people in other maps, can't seem to find any myself
@@JLNightmare makes a heap of sense, I was losing my mind looking for npcs lol. The one in blubba next to the big stairset standing on the wood scaffolding platform took me ages to find haha, was looking in crazy places.
I need a mini hud map in the corner of my screen. I get so lost lol. I’m terrible with directions in the game and real life. I have to use GPS even around my city
pleas help Antiferg highline no push line doesnt work for me after i do a manual i must talk to Antiferg but if i go of the board tasks in misssion restart to begining as i must talk to him during a line but i try you cant talk with if on the board, idk what to do. Also mind the gap wont register my pop shuvit but all other tricks i try in every stance. I play on Xbox One S, maybe dev are awere? If you can help thanks
Is the manual registering before you go back? Like do you have all the check marks before it says to talk to Antiferg? Try to copy the Line how I do it (make sure not to push or get off the board until the challenges are checked) When In doubt, always just try and copy exactly how I do the challenges and it should work.
I’m stuck on meeting Ryan underpass ditch. Trick over ledge into bank ✅ Trick on flat ✅ Trick over ledge . It never registers my attempts. Idk what I’m doing wrong .
Yo JL idk why but my griptape is still clean but my wheels and board will get dirty but not my griptape, it only get dirty when I do Darkslides but basically it scratch up the grip but not weather in
Yeah it’s really weird that it’s not working as it should. Before the update, I think a value was changed and it messed up the grip tape getting dirty, cause the version I played for my Overview video had griptape that got really dirty and beat up without doing a single Darkslides.
@@JLNightmare oh ok thank for confirming and one last thing as well the clothing option as well don't get the wear down either when I bail but that's all keep up the work JL
Can I ask a question that probably don’t get asked to much…but I have a pretty decent mid end laptop what would be the best graphic settings I achieve 45 to 60 FPS but I feel like it could be more
I get asked this quite a bit actually. You can try setting everything to high but change textures to Low and Post Processing to Medium. Turn Vsync Off to get more fps. Keep NPCs on low or off, turn off Day Night cycle, turn off Simulate clouds and lock to FPS to 60 or 120 or in between, never have it on Unlimited. If you’re still not getting your desired FPS, you can lower Resolution go 1280x720
Probably a kin to "whiskey throttle" where you forget to let go of the stick. Add to the the late flip settings and you're inputs have to be on point. I'm sure it'll be smoothed out. But sometimes I wanna do a simple kick back tail. I end up doing late flips most of the time.
I think it might be my controller and the sticks being sensitive. Perhaps I need to calibrate them. I do find it crazy how I have my Revert Sensitivity on FULL and never accidentally revert.. that should be a sign that my controller is different from most other PS4 controllers haha maybe sticks and triggers are just outta whack :p
@@JLNightmare my revert is on the lowest possible setting without being off completely and it does it nearly every single time I tap the triggers trying to turn a little bit for a set up hahaha.
I have one, I actually don’t like it as much for session. It’s smooth for sure.. but I might have to use the program to set the trigger feedback to make it a bit tougher to push down. Right now it’s just too loose feeling.
Not sure what I’m missing but I have completed the the story and can’t find anymore random challenges and I’m still only at around 4K EXP. Any thoughts?
I did some testing and found that sometimes you don’t get Exp from mission, which is a bug. Seems like rewards are unintentionally random. So people end the missions with lower or higher exp
The flip speed seems to be much faster after the update. I had the same issue as yours, but not as often. Fortunately I lowered down my flip speed quite much and it fixes the double flips
Weird how if i get your exact stats manual and grind pops are way lower than what i see in your videos. For example those manual quests you have to pop over stuff doesnt work at all with your settings on and i double checked your inputs on the video and im 200% my input is exactly the same. This update broke my stats to a point where i didnt managed to get them back to the way i like them to this day =/
There’s a way to pop higher when you need to. Watch the controller when I pop the high manuals, I crank it all the way back before I pop. It gives you more height. The manual pop height affect the pop right from manuals without cranking the back foot and just popping from the balance.
@@JLNightmare i did see you do it and I do it also but it doesn't work (it does go higher). For me it only work if I do the same motion of the "double grind" setup when you completely release the stick and then input the pop motion. Honestly extremely annoying :/
My settings are only a guideline, they won’t feel great for everyone it’s all personal preference. if a setting doesn’t feel good, change it notch buy notch till it feels good. Pop heights are all about the skater just like irl, everyone is gonna have different heights.
@@JLNightmare Yeah i know its just i used to have my stats way "harder" than yours last update and i didnt found a good balance yet. Ill keep tweaking until i find the sweetspot. Thanks for the videos and the quick response.
That’s the thing tho, doesn’t matter if I do a slower input or not (I’ve always used Speed input for flips). been playing for years, It didn’t used to be this sensitive in older builds. I could also be my controller and maybe need to calibrate my sticks
wow. this update with the effects reminds me of Skate 2 in the best way.

Seems to be going that way so far ;) haha
This must come after the "Skate Shop Meet Up" in the story? Im still stuck there lol That damn nosegrind/flip out trick keeps hanging me up
Yes, the previous video has that challenge in it

I figured out that sometimes you don’t get EXP from missions, which is a bug. So some people finish the missions with less experience.

Does anyone know what the fps is like playing on Series X? I've found the Series S has lots of stuttering frame rate, especially in the new FDR map.
