2021 UPDATE: I’m still riding this scooter almost every day. 550 miles in. I was hit head on, while riding my Dualtron 8 months ago. (See that video for details) I still LOVE this scooter. Max speed is around 25-26mph still. Rear fender has given me issues so make sure you are tightening yours if it gets loose.
justin h not yet. I’m sitting around 600 miles. I can get another 200 miles prob on this tire. I replaced both of them on my Dualtron, though the Speedway is a solid. I have heard, solid rear tires can be difficult. Let me know please!? :)
Yea I also have a dualtron. I own a dualtron eagle pro the tires is so easy to change on there. I haven't install the tire yet on the speedway mini 4 pro yet but I'm in the process of during it
Salah Oso claims 30miles a charge, but like most escooters it’s around half that, if you are going fast all the time. And remember most people don’t go a longer ride than 15 miles in a single ride or day, so if you can charge every day you shouldn’t have a problem.
I wish we had smooth roads like that in Colorado! Good review. And Dude, the race sequence at the end where you dusted your good buddy on the Dualtron was epic
@@kpresnell45 I've got a great scooter dealer based in Colorado called Next Level Scooters. The guy brings the scooter you order right to your door usually within a day or two... That's where I got my Eagle Pro and Mini 4 Pro from.
@@kpresnell45 Hey bruh, I got 770 miles on my Mini 4 now and haven't had any troubles. How is yours holding up? Trying to get to 1000 miles before I replace back tire, otherwise everything is solid.
I just put 3,800 miles on my Mini IV Pro. The best speed/range/weight ratio of any scooter I know of. Reliable and trusty. How's yours holding up? Did you get the back tire changed out?
@@russbeard3665 I’m at 2745miles. Still rocking the OG bald rear tire. Ride it every day to work still, little over 4 miles round trip. Luckily it doesn’t rain much here, so I’ve been able to keep the bald tire on. I’ll swap it this winter.
@@russbeard3665 just notched since your last comment here, you have put roughly 500 miles in the last year and I’ve put roughly 1000. I’ll catch you soon 😄
@@kpresnell45 Yeah, I've had to switch over to my Eagle Pro since my commute has doubled this year. (18 mile round trip, its getting cold before the crack of dawn at 40 mph😆)
If you have a price point of a $1000 this is scooter worth considering. When searching for this scooter make sure its through minimotors website. Overall I would rank this scooter for the price 9/10. If you have recently ridden a public rentable e-scooter from bird, lime, uber, etc, those are about a $450 scooter. So for a little more than double the price you get this scooter. They claim 28mph but Ive been at a solid 26 tops since I purchased it. That why im not ranking this a 9/10. It feels like a solid build. The only thing that concerns me is the 4 screws that hold the stem to the base, I have seen with the cheaper scooters that this connection can be a problem, but im not showing any negative signs 250 miles in. Ive read negative opinions on the braking system, but I i have the PA setting at 5. (2:32 min mark) I had never thought the brake was underpowered. (DISCLAIMER Ive ridden sport-bikes since I was 16, so 25mph never really feels fast to me.) Torque is mostly in the mid-range of the scooter. 10-20 is quick. Ive went 32 mph down a hill. Its a bit loud, if you are on a really steep hill, but it will pull you up. (those $450 dollars will not) The Eye2 controller is great and easy to use. Not sure if i like the solid rear tire, still debating. Over all if you are wanting a quick and fairly light scooter for commuting 1-5 miles each way this is perfect. If you are after a "need for speed", you may pass on this one. The other scooter i was looking into was the Wide Wheel Dual Motor, but the key turned me off. Also the company at the time was still establishing itself in the "quicker" market. That being said there is no key, so always bring a U-Lock and never leave it anywhere over night!
How many miles you got? I got 3300 miles on my Mini 4 Pro. It is reliable and is a great bang for $1K. (Replacing the solid rear tire is a nightmare though! I've done it twice.)
Hello, very nice video ! Can I use excerpts from the video (without sound) to illustrate what I'm saying in my video? This is for a french presentation video. Thank you for your reply. Yours sincerely 😉
Specs say 30 mile range at eco speeds. I could get around 20 miles if hauling ass new. With all the mileage I have ridden, I’d guess I can get closer to 16-18 max throttle.
Does the stem wobble a little if you move it forward and back my Emove Touring which is basically an upgraded version of this has this play in the stem which annoys me apparently it's normal but how lol
THE W4RRIOR5 CODE The stem at the locking mechanism wiggles slightly forward and backwards. Specifically at the locking pin. I could negate this by wrapping each side of the locking pin with a little bit of electrical tape. While riding at speed I Don’t notice any wobble at all. So to answer your question the wobble is not in the stem. My Dualtron three stem is independent from the base and if not locked down tight enough can wiggle. Wiggle is “normal” they say, but if you feel it at over like 5mph that ISNT normal.
kpresnell45 yes that's what I've got from the locking mechanism up or locking pin up there's a slight wiggle forward/back but since I've only had it a few days and only been out on it once can't say I noticed while cruising at 20+mph but it got me thinking I hope this doesn't go while riding!
Its not a bad scooter and I haven't got to ride one yet. They share alot of the same features including, same folding handle bars, similar eye throttle, solid rear tire, and front suspension. But is it better? I disagree. Mini 4 has better top speed, longer range, easier main stem folding (an issue with the zero 9), lighter, $50 cheaper, and great USA customer service. Zero 9 has dual brakes, which the Mini is lacking and probably a better rear suspension. Overall they are very similar. Put your money with MiniMotors.
@@kpresnell45 - Speedway mini 4 Pro need to be compared with Zero 8 ( slim , have a 8" rear solid, a single drum brake, a 500 watt motor, comparable price if you take the 16ah battery version). - Zero 9 have two 8.5" Tube tyres with hydraulic rear suspension = much comfort. And 2 brakes (1 disk) are way superior for to stop you than a single drum brake.
@@kpresnell45 Thanks for the info. Great review by the way. I was just wondering on their web site it says there is s a speed limiter on scooters shipped in the U.S. Was there one on you scooter that you had to remove?
I feel you bro, but given the price point, I’d opt for the Zero 9 which is $1099 right now, and it reaches 25-28 mph due to its 600watt motor. Plus it has a slicker design with under deck lighting and front/read suspension. Hydraulic in the rear and spring in the front
Does the handlebars slowly drop down throughout a ride due to road vibrations, rider weight stress, and mere gravity like my Zero 8? I found that just using the provided clamp is not enough. It'd be great if these adjustable handlebar height stems have preset holes so this doesn't happen for greater durability and safety
Tony Mykhaylovsky Awesome! hopefully it meets your expectations, let me know. With the WideWheel now under recall for the manufacturer I still believe this is the best scooter for the price tag!

Food requires a store, gas to get people to and from the store, gas to get food to the store, not to mention the energy required to make refined oil. (also the same argument can be used for making batteries) but an escooter burns LESS human calories , and trickle charges to a full battery (low amp) from your house, so it more self contained. decide if you want air filled tires or a solid rubber rear for maintenance, that's the only major difference.

They're the same scooter except for their shape. The only major difference is the leger has pneumatic tires.

If you buy it in the USA it will come with a "speed limiting wire". You simply have to unplug it. If your local codes allow of course :)
