Starving and feeding is the only best option.. you can starve for 3-4 days as well.. but under proper observation
Salt is the best treatment for flower horn. I faced same issue and treated with salt. I have a kamfa

I dont see any bio media in your tank also the oxygen is too slow. May be i feel its ammonia spikes due to no home for beneficial bacteria to home.
