      @@user-ru9ek5pq8m Rane has the best build quality, by far.
      It just “feels” nice- anyone accustomed to vinyl turntables will translate basically 1:1.
      Pioneer stuff is always, always super nice- but hella expensive… and for whatever reason, sus durability issues.
      Pioneer mixers always have chazzed paint around the crossfader- it’s been an issue for years across products.

    Its crazy because not having too many effects on the rane makes it more traditional, because back in the day of djing it was just good scratching, mixing and playing good partying music, maybe that was ranes concept from the beginning, now everyone is so caught up into why it doesn't have alot of effects and stems 🤔

    • @Gatsby808
      @Gatsby808  10 месяцев назад +2

      Could be…and it does have stems, you just have to replace the slicer pad with that feature in the settings. Overall this is a tank that has been amazing for me and fun to do events with.

    Personally 🤔 i think the Rane one is everything the Rev 7 is not (doent have) Exp no XLR or TRS main outs 😳 is that pro? AND the Rane one is now @ 1/2 price 😏😐

      I won’t argue with you. I do about 70 weddings a year plus corporate events and some bars/clubs…I roll with the Rane to every one of them. Rev never leaves the home studio. There are things I like about each but the Rane is my workhorse!

    Nice review I have the rev 7 and set my stems on into the scratch bank. It works out good for me

    • @Gatsby808
      @Gatsby808  Год назад +1

      Thanks! I got some lighting and a mic so the video quality should be much better. I need to map the stems to those buttons. It will make things a lot easier and keep access to the hot cues open. Thanks for checking out the video

    I used an o-ring over the post to help snug up the loose cross/up fader curve potentiometers on the Rane One.
    Idk how that issue made it out of qc, but it’s honestly a super simple fix.

      Yes I did the same thing once I took the crossfader out I realized what I had to do can’t believe that didn’t know this back at the factory lol

      Thanks for watching! I haven’t used the t7 in person but have seen a lot of DJs using it so probably all 3 are great choices.

    I found a hack where you replace the vinyl with the denon dj 8 inch acrylic ones from 12 inch skinz I tell you GAME CHANGER. That was one of the things I’ve seen reviewers prefer was surface space. The 8 inch vinyl transforms the Rane One experience

  • @Beocaaa

    I’m stuck between the Rane one and four. Motorized and needle search vs 4 channels and better stem control.

    • @Gatsby808
      @Gatsby808  Год назад +1

      Yea that’s a tough one…I’ve been eyeing the Rane four for a while. Probably the biggest thing holding me back is it won’t fit in my new jet pack bag and the One and Rev 7 do haha

      I have the Rane One & absolutely love it, but the Rane One can be used as a standalone, not needing your laptop. 👍🏾

    This is one of those videos I was wishing for BIG THANK YOU! I've been looking at those two units for some time. Long usage comparison. IDK why the Rev7 here costs here about 2500 USD and Rane 1550 USD. And I am still telling myself, are those 3.5-inch LCD units worth that much?
    Instant scratch is dope But are there only for banks? You cannot preload whole songs too? Like playing without hooking up the computer at all.
    Again thanks for the video

    • @Gatsby808
      @Gatsby808  Год назад

      Glad I could help! So you can’t load any more sounds or tracks to the instant scratch. Ya get what ya get. If you have the computer hooked up you can add tracks to scratch bank of course but that defeats the purpose of practicing without a laptop. Overall two solid choices but no way I would pay $1k more. I’m co side ring a Rane Four for a review. So we will see!

    Rane One all day for me. It’s my Rane TwelveMK2 and 72MK2’s baby brother 😂

      I can't argue with that. I have been trying to talk myself into selling it and take the Rev7 on the road to events and weddings but just can't do it. The Rane One is such a workhorse!

      @@Gatsby808 I hear u. Shyt… I still have my Numark V7’s lol. So I understand how u feel about unloading stuff. Now when I don’t feel like using the laptop at all I break out my Denon SC600M’s and those are game changers for really real.

    O decided to buy a Rane cause the size and the full metal body. Heavy but strong machine. But, in your opnion, both have the same quality Sound?

    • @Gatsby808
      @Gatsby808  Год назад

      I can’t notice a difference in straight sound quality. The sound quality of on board effects vs Serato only effects on the Rane the edge 100% to the Rev 7

    Thanks for the video Brother. Nice to see an honest opinion about whats real. Can you please let me know about about this one thing i have a hunch on. I believe the Rane has a much better Scratch sound than the Rev 7. Everyone i have talked to about this dismisses me and says "it sounds the same cause the sound from both controllers is being processed through Serato" I say no, the Midi information is being passed to the computer from the controllers and the rane one takes technology from the NS7 with 3600 ticks of high resolution midi per revolution thus resulting in a much smoother waveform . I dont know how many the Pioneer has but i know that the sound of a scratch on the Pioneer sounds tinny, hollow, and digitized while the same scratch sounds full, fat and analog on the Rane! Please back me up or prove me wrong. Thanks

    I think the Rane One’s sound quality is also better than the Pioneering Rev 7

    • @Gatsby808
      @Gatsby808  9 месяцев назад

      It’s very possible. I primarily use the Rane One at Weddings and events and the Rev7 in my home studio on small speakers so Ive never been able to give it a fair comparison. Both sound great though.
