This video popped up on my feed literally an hour after I ordered the 4ms wave recorder. 😆 My experiences so far: I tried using my Disting MK4 in my portable synth to do recording but it wants module level voltages so trying to record from my mixer outs resulted in a very quiet recording and of course it passes thru modular level output so the only real option for me is the 4ms wave recorder. For my big synth I use a Mackie ProFXv3 series mixer that has 2X4 USB I/O to get sounds into my computer. Cheers 🙂
Hey, this is a great technique video. If you can brighten up the front of your rack I think that would make a big difference to the overall production quality, whether through lighting or color grading, overall picture is on the dark side. Looking forward to future vids!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm just about done editing the next video, and worked on the lights a bit more - hopefully it should be better! You should be able to see for yourself in a day or two :-)
Awesome tutorial! And cute bird ☺️💚

I'm glad it was useful!
I bought the 4MS wav. It is cool, but you really have to work with the mixing or else it can come out very mushy.
