  • Kadaknath also known as Kali Masi is a desi breed of chicken that hails from the Jhabua region of Madhya Pradesh, India. The Kadaknath chicken is one of the three popular breeds of Black Chicken worldwide. The other two are Silkie from China and Ayam Cemani from Indonesia.
    Interestingly, the presence of melanin in the blood of the black chicken makes it suitable for people suffering from Vitiligo, which makes the skin discolored unevenly due to the presence of melanin.
    Protein content in Kedarnath is higher than 25% in an ordinary bird it varies between 18-20%.
    Research has shown that this species has lower cholesterol(0.73-1.05%) than white chicken(13-25%)
    High levels of 18 amino acids out of which 8 are essential for humans and rich in hormones.
    Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, C, and E, niacin, protein, fat, calcium, phosphorus, iron, etc.
    Kadaknath has special medicinal value in homeopathy and a particular nervous disorder.
    The tribal uses Kedarnath blood in the treatment of chronic disease in human beings and its meat as an aphrodisiac (Believed to infuse vigor in Make).
    Experts say that Viagra or Sildenafil Citrate is a vasodilator designed to increase blood flow to the heart and the melanin pigment in Kedarnath does the same.

    Ingredients:
    500-550 grams of Kadaknath chicken meat, 300 grams of onion, 5 whole red chilies, 20 grams cloves of garlic, 2 parts garlic and 1 part ginger blended into a fine paste(2 tablespoons), 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/2 tablespoon of ground cumin, 1/2 tablespoon of Kashmiri chili (optional), salt as per taste, 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala, a few chopped coriander leaves to garnish.
    500-550 ग्राम कड़कनाथ मुर्गे का मांस, 300 ग्राम प्याज, 5 साबुत लाल मिर्च, 20 ग्राम लहसुन की कली, 2 भाग लहसुन और 1 भाग अदरक को मिलाकर बारीक पेस्ट (2 बड़े चम्मच), 2-3 बड़े चम्मच जैतून का तेल, 1 चम्मच धनिया बीज, 1/2 चम्मच जीरा, 1/2 चम्मच हल्दी, 1/2 चम्मच पिसा हुआ जीरा, 1/2 चम्मच कश्मीरी मिर्च (वैकल्पिक), स्वादानुसार नमक, 1 चम्मच गरम मसाला, कुछ कटा हरा धनिया सजाने के लिए।
