This is the coolest format I've seen in terms of the casual trackmania gamer. As long as you have a base knowledge of the game you could win this mode
love this concept, but what if there was a minimum speed limit so its not just a bunch of parked cars waiting to drive in last second. Could just be cruise control + no brakes

Finalist is normally a really cool concept, but i don't like it here.
It clashes with the 20.000 = win concept to me.
I could also see this ironed out a bit in the track design

This is a very very cool idea tbh. It kind of flips racing on its head since it's usually the absolute fastest way is the best way. This is a nice twist.
I love the Maxwell car skin.
And now I'm just imagining it overlaying the Rally or Desert car, so that when it two-wheels, it looks like it's tipping over and doing his little rocking dance. _The custom horn sound better be the Maxwell the Cat theme, too, or so help me..._

This time trial style racing is quite common with old timer rallies. Assistance with time taking is not allowed, you gotta go by feel and your speedometer and youa re not allowed to go slower than a certain speed I think.

Should have a tournament that is “the slowest time” and each round has a 25 second timer. So like, you can risk for a close to 25 second time but if you go over the round ends and you get nothing

Interpolation is just the method used to numerically approximate a value between 2 other values. So here I'm guessing the game knows the hundredths of when the car has and hasn't passed the finish line and it then calculates thousandths by running numerical approximations either using how much of the car has passed the line or the speed of the car.

Waiting at the beginning is for sure the best strat. It's impossible to time something to the thousandth but wait+short path gives most consistency

I always enjoy watching ya, but this comp actually looks like something more “doable” for everybody, including newer players. Would love to see more of it.
As for example myself played spring season this year a little bit (first time ever) but had troubles understanding the best racing lines. However here you don’t specifically need those. Interesting for sure
