I love them. there will always be a slight hum sound no matter the setting, but once a movie or music is playing, it's irrelevant. If you need complete silence when they are on and nothing is playing, go with passive speakers and a separate amp. I have no regrets.
I own a pair and they are great especially when I add a sub. My gigs sound like a nightclub 👍🏾

I have no hum with mine. Maybe it is coming from your processor or cables. Or maybe your gain is too high.
