That is just running away and denial. The sh*t you will later put your partners and children through without even realizing it. Her way is better: she worked through her past before building new relationship. Eposure and understanding of yourself.
@@josiesan3744 without processing you will just repeat everything. I don't say she should stay and pretend they are great loving family but just leaving without setting and defining borders you are bound to recreate the same life every time you start a relatinship
Sooooo Not once her parents called to check on her. See how she’s living not one apology. They didn’t reflect. She should have cut all ties with her parents and had a relationship with just her sister.
They’d love me enough for both of us???? WHAT!!!! Why should the biological daughter’s love go to HER??? How selfish! How could you build on such an attitude? I understand an adopted child not wanting to be abandoned again, but even as an adult, she thinks that’s ok…huh? No way…. When people don’t care if you even live or die, it’s time to walk away. But…people have a right to their choice, but…I would not have gone back into that “family”. She will ALWAYS be the outsider. There’s a time when you need to PROTECT yourself, not give them a chance to repeated make you the “outsider”.
A story about self love, healing, forgiveness, finding oneself etc. I don't forgive easily so I would not have forgiven the parents or the sibling. To each his own. The story was good, but too repetitive and too long.
You don’t need a family like that. You need to see them and make sure they understand that you have your own life.

No, it never works. The best thing one can do is cut ties and create a new family.

They are not true parents in my opinion and she deserves better.
There's a special kind of pain in mourning something you always wanted but never had
To not even visit or caĺl your daughter after or during major surgery is a sure sign that they don't care.😊
Level Up
Yourself, with therapy and ones self love then…
To those who appreciate your presence, hardworking and caring nature and then hopefully love.

This is a good one and pretty realistic
Unique story ❤
Cried listening to this one. Hit so close to home.
She should learn to let go. All her life is about a family that left her for x years with no contact and she is letting them back to her new life.
