As someone who isn't American I find it so weird people saying they hope Trump does a bad job just to say "I told you so", I don't understand this mentality (and I see this in Europe too that if a right wing party gets in the left wants them to fail). I am originally from South Africa and moved to the UK a while ago, I knew the party that got in would mess things up but I was hoping they wouldn't. In South Africa there is a full communist genocide party that gets about 12% of the vote now, if they do get into power I hope they don't destroy the country, I don't like them, I don't want them in power, but if it does happen, I don't hope they screw up the entire country just so I can say, see I was right about them. I hope who ever gets into power in any country does the best for their own people, stop focusing on other countries stop doing things for everyone else, I want every country to put their own country and their own people first and I think that will lead to a better outcome for everyone if every country does that. And I say that because so many Europeans and Americans say but we need to help African countries, no stop it, those countries are incentivized to keep screwing up because they keep getting aid which goes straight into the politicians pockets. Africa needs to sort out their own problems, same with the Middle East. We have become reliant on having bad politicians to keep getting "aid" because if we sort out our problems the government stops getting free money. If there is some sort of natural disaster that is a different story, but getting "aid" for government mismanagement incentivizes more government mismanagement so I fully support Trump stopping foreign aid. But I want USA to put USA first, I want UK to put UK first, I want South Africa to put South Africa first, and the same for every other country out there. I want the best for you in your country and I am glad America has someone that will put Americans first, I hope it works out for all you Americans and I would hope the same for you if Kamala won, I want the best for all of you ❤❤
