Thank you for that! I’m happy I can give you the experience without any risk of stings. These bees are very calm too, there was at no point a sting or attempted sting. They are my friends! :D
Africanized bees are in my area in central Louisiana and I`m having issues with old car accident injuries and arthritis so I decided not to get a hive until I get more advice. I saw a small wild hive of Africanized bees attack a guy and really hurt him fast but I warned him before he harassed them. They didn`t come after me and another guy though but we weren`t the one who aggravated them intentionally. I used to have all the equipment, suit and 4 hives years ago but never needed to wear the suit to harvest a frame of honey but I knew very little and mites and moths infested them after a few years and killed them. There are certain people bees don`t like it seems for whatever reasons. My dad couldn`t go near them.
