Personally I liked the original finish on this set.
I love that you replaced the bases. I'm personally a little tired of gray since it's been a key color for 10+ years, but the finish looks perfect.
I think that 4 piece set is well worth $2,000! I love the colour combination and the legs really enhance the look :-D

Hey hun, I went on the Drexel site and one pc of what you refinished they have for sale for over $1,000.00. You might want to look into showing your products at a show and talk up the different products. Just an idea, you do beautiful work. I see some of these Flea Markets that sell furniture for big $$.

I just paid 6k for a 5 piece bedroom set (bedframe making it 5) and its not solid wood. Id have paid sooo much more than 2k for this! Love the look of these!

I love how you refinish furniture ! The colors are amazing and the dipped look I love !Could sit for hours watching you
I used gel stain on a buffet that I stripped and found out that it was several different types of wood. I learned that some types of wood take the gel stain well, and others it streaks badly, but I used denatured alcohol (while it was still very fresh) to wipe back and blend the gell stain better, and that worked very well.
Lauren! This set turned out so nice, so professional. You should be proud of this! Such hard work but you powered thru! Bravo girl!

You’ve done an AMAZING job…as always. Your ability and taste to choose colors is spot on….I struggle so much with that. This set is worth more than the $2000.00 you’re asking…I can’t believe the price of furniture today and a lot of it is crap. I hope a bidding war for it develops…if it’s not already sold. Beautiful! Lauren, I absolutely love how this turned out and being Drexel furniture.............perfect! It is stunning and I will be excited to know how much it does sell for. I think 2500 would be a very fair price. You could not touch Drexel Heritage furniture in the years I grew up but it has always been a highly sought after name of very expensive furniture. I think it's beautifully done and whomever is the lucky person to buy it will really enjoy it I am sure. It's gorgeous. You really bought it into this modern era. Just beautiful!!

Don't use polyurethane on top .it turned mine a yellow and it happened immediately on my paintwash area. I'm sure any other sealer wouldn't have done it. You did great as usual
