As someone that grew up before and during the rise of social media, I'll offer some words.. for content creators, and in many ways for anyone that posts on social platforms, one becomes what is expected of them.. through algorithm, trends, social media guidelines, and ones audience. Psychological engineering goes into every single aspect of social media, and the internet as a whole, then add in with recent inclusion of ai driven algorithms that are basically controlling everything online. That's the reality of it, but it's still only the surface of it, but many people don't wanna know it, they don't wanna understand it, and they certainly don't wanna talk about it. Even when it's talked about, it's made in a trendy way that goes around on tiktok and other platforms with things like reels. So I don't think most really understand, but even the ones that do get it, society makes it difficult, and practically impossible to avoid using it to some degree. With that said however, I have noticed a shift in mass psyche, with more and more people realizing and seeing what's going on, but it's a bit too late and people also sense that part too, so what are we supposed to do? I hope these shifts where more people are waking up to social media psychosis can harness the available tech like ai and such and change the way things are done.. we did move into Aquarius, so just maybe there's hope for powerful change. Btw if you never seen the movie 'The Society" with Tom Hanks and Emma Watson, give it a watch.. it's what your talking about here pushed to the up most extreme. And lastly I'll say, the internet wasn't always like how it is today, there was a real feeling of freedom and anonymity, and there wasn't constant censorship everywhere.. people would always share how they really felt and what they really thought, and it was glorious!
Thank you for your comment. 🖤I really wish more of us came together on this and created alternative spaces for artist and community building…or a totally different format even (like something similar to internet but differently interconnected). I have not seen that movie you recommended but I will give it a go! Thank you so much
I believe people that are like minded to us will come up with something. As the internet/social media stands, there's been many apps created to move outside of things, like Telegram for example (my intuition doesn't trust it though).. mind you, I haven't explored any of these apps however, from my understanding, pretty much any app that goes outside of the mainstream platforms that starts growing gets their growth stunted, they are bought out by a bigger monopoly corporation, or they are basically forced to shut down for one reason or another. Also, the big corps own most of the servers and control a lot of the viewable internet/social space, so small apps have to push their advertising through that.. one's pretty much screwed in every direction. Although I'm not a user of it, there's the deep web, but good luck getting the masses to move there lol. It's dark and gloom yes, but so is practically everywhere one looks in the world anymore. I was a truther most of my life, but the last year and a half I simply checked out and focused on other things like music, and creative content I just enjoy. I still keep an eye on things, especially the mind and trends of the masses, and I definitely feel a positive shift in the right direction overall, and I'm certainly optimistic no matter how dark things seem to get. And as someone who keeps half, if not more of myself in darkness, I recognize you do as well, people like us know the dark, we can understand it and we know how to work within it, but importantly, we know how to be the light in the darkest of night, so I do have a strong sense that it will ultimately be more people similar to us that do something, we just need the call, I'm however still waiting on it. At any rate, I think for now the best thing to do is to simply use the spaces available to us that most people are already on. I appreciate you replying btw, some people seemed bothered when I write long comments, but that's just how I prefer to talk with people lol.

Feel you, we need to change the world and it starts with us🖇️
I was a teenager in the 90ies. No social media, no mobile phones, not even Nokia phone. I miss these times.
@@spike200a it’s insane to say this, but it does seem like such a privilege to have lived back then😅
Can't remember that me or anyone else ever had an identity crisis back then. Nowadays it's the norm
There's a lil bit of "white-noise" (the mic I believe)...but the message is clear!🖤
Yeah this was kind of intentionally done old school 😌 Thanks for watching
