Arte Povera preceded all those post-'90s 'cheap-material art'. It was so innovative, and in a way, its glory lied in creating beauty out of the kitchen-sink grit. I wouldn't say Arte Povera is a style I know in significant depth, but it's certainly very interesting!
Can someone tell me why its so hard to find information on Pier Paolo Calzolari's untitled (malina) 1968-96 installation piece which took place at studio bentivoglio, Bologna in 1975. He did a installation with ice melting and a albino dog chained to a wall.
