In the Rammstein : in Amerika's dvd , Paul said that till would do anything for art, and he needed to feel pain. Like he thinks he deserves that, and not to be happy. Kinda remainded me of Dr House , when his friend , Wilson , said that House feel like he not deserves to be happy, and feel the pain .. and i feel that way about Till. He hurts himself in the name of art, but i feel he is suffering very much inside and he is so broken. he finds confort in pain.

This is a very prolific song & video. Art imitates life & vice versa. Who knew a song & video made a couple of years prior couldn’t be ever more poignant today. We are lucky to have this iconic voice in our generation.
A Tigers Tongue can be nearly as dangerous as its Teeth.
You know how rough a domestic Cats Tongue is well x that by around 50. It can strip Skin and Flesh from Bone.
Hand rearend big cats can be more dangerous than wild ones because they have little or no fear of humans.
Till's dedication to his art in on another level, getting his expression across is everything no matter the pain, he will always do it himself so nobody else has to suffer.
They can literally licking the flesh from the bones with their tongue.
I have a chronic disease of the pancreas and have had at least 50 or 60 gastroscopy procedures and I'm not yet 40, and if he really did it while fully conscious, hats off to him.
Normally a gastroscopy is done under anesthesia using propofol. And you shouldn't have any memories.
And apparently he just did it here without anesthesia, it's just crazy to no end.

The glass was probably fake glass
Gastroscopy can be performed completely normally without anesthesia, he probably received some local anesthetic for sewing the mouth so he wouldn't feel it, and the tigers were well-trained, believe me, all the scenes were pretty safe.

I had that procedure done its called an endoscopy if i remeber correctly. I felt like i was sufficating the whole time, lets just say it lasted alot longer then it did when he was doing it. I also had to do the one up the backside. That sucked as well but the mouth one was way worse! Ive been waiting in particular out of the very few who have reacted to this one, for you two guys to react to it.!❤

"In August 2022, Edgard Zapashny, director of the Bolshoi Moscow Circus, revealed some information about the video shoot in an interview. The video was shot a year prior, to celebrate the circus' 50th anniversary:[1]
"Till hired Russian director Anna Tsukanova-Kott, and they started thinking about what to do," Zapashny recounts. "Anna suggested to him, 'Why don't you shoot with tigers, and not just stand next to them, but let a tiger lick you, maybe even scratch you?' Till quickly agreed."
Anna Tsukanova-Kott called Zapashny, whom she had known for a long time, to ask for help with the shoot.
"I said, 'Well, of course, you've really come up with something crazy, but is the artist really willing to take such risks?'" recalls the circus director. "I was invited to a restaurant to meet Till. I went and saw a healthy guy who fully understood that what they were planning was dangerous. Later, I realized that he's a guy with a bullet in his head, in a good way. I mean, he's really willing to take risks for the sake of a good product."
Before the shoot, several rehearsals were conducted, and the global celebrity immediately said he was ready to enter the cage with the tigers and even interact with them.
"It was amazing because, to the best of my memory, male Russian artists never agreed to anything like this. Only Olga Pogodina agreed to get in close contact with tigers during the filming of the series 'Margareta Nazarova.' Till became the second person in history to do this," Zapashny reveals.
According to the staff of the Big Moscow Circus, the essence of the shoot was not only to show the artist working with tigers. It is known, for example, that Lindemann was thrown darts during the shoot.
Zapashny was interviewed once again, on the day before the video premiere by KP.ru
He was friendly, without a hint of pathos. He told me about the idea of the clip and said that he intended to perform all the stunts personally. Because I immediately asked him if it was necessary to prepare a body double. But he said: "No, no, I want to do everything myself." Afterwards he specified: "Could the tiger attack me?". That is, he wanted the tiger to attack him, and perhaps even injure him.
He was aware that it was a tiger. I interjected: "Wait, do you realize that when attacked, a tiger is likely to inflict injuries on you? Even if they are minimal, they will be injuries. "Yes, I do realize that, I don't mind," he replied. "Great, sure, but I'm against it," I replied. Because I didn't want to take that kind of responsibility and uncontrollable risks with a world-class star. We defined a circle of tricks. He kept insisting that he had to be in close contact with the tigers. And we decided that Till would feed the animals both from his hand and mouth.
At that moment we had a tiger named Ricky (Edgard's favorite, who passed away in May 2023 - editor's note), with whom both my brother and I had done similar tricks. And I had confidence in him. But I immediately told Till that one day is not enough for such stunts. After that he obediently came to our circus several times for rehearsals. He talked to the tigers, we tried the trick. And after we were convinced that the animals reacted well to him, and he behaved adequately - he did not provoke, did not go crazy, and clearly followed the instructions - we gave the go-ahead"

I just went frame by frame on the bit with the darts. There appears to be a line attached to them, you can tell with the one on his right cheek, also in a later shot where the skin appears to be pulled. My guess is they were stuck in and it's played backwards.
Regardless, it's an amazing video.

I doubt it was real glass. There is sugar-glass that looks real, but it's not sharp. The dart scene could have been shot in reverse. These are all possibilities. Not confirming anything.

My interpretation of this song is that it's about the accusations that Rammstein have received recently, and Till getting his lips sewed shut is a personification of the accusations drowning out Till's (and the rest of the band)'s words against them.

If there's one thing to be said about Till, it's that he pulls no punches when it comes to what he's willing to do for his art! Love the song and the album, so SO many bangers!
It's really interesting personally that he's singing about how he "says what he wants" completely unapologetically, when the video itself seems to focus so heavily upon punishing him physically, like IMHO giving him a vibe of someone who is on some level looking for penance. The woman might represent someone whom he's hurt with his careless words, whom he is now seeking to inflict the punishments he thinks he deserves? Idk, I feel I'm just talking out mein arschloch and could be wayyyy off from the entire intention of the song and video, but that's what I personally got from it anyway - basically a guy who's openly admitting that he's been reckless with his "Zunge" and is now paying his dues.

all of those shots are without doubt real, hes known for being a serious masochist who prior did things including but not limited to, whipping himself bloody, having holes cut into his cheeks to install a lightbulb in his mouth, cut himself for theatric scars and caught a whole number of fractures and severe burn wounds on stage. another little known fact is that prior to going into music, he was considered as a swimmer for the olympics, but since doping in the DDR wasnt uncommon he had to retire after severing the entirety of his abdominal wall in a training incident.

Not a bad song, but I feel Till could've done more vocally. The chorus sounds like he's just phoning it in a bit. Love some of the instrumentals, but for some reason, the snare sounds better on the video than on Spotify. Strange.
