yeah 27k candies is way too many, we get like around 100 of them per game, so that would make around 270 games in total to complete this battlepass , this is ridiculous
The problem isn't because the other battle pass isn't free, the problem was how it was executed. First of all 500 robux is too much (its $5 for the USA sure but its more then that for other countries). Second, the way how they distributed the rewards especially the skins feels like a gatekeep and unbalanced, the free version has only one good skin while the rest are just mid or even terrible, all of the other good skins are in the paid battle pass. The last thing is, besides the exclusive stuff, there really isn't anything special you're gaining (in my opinion), can't even throw in a phantom crate or a deluxe crate. Do not tell me its because its a paid crate, they legit gave out a free deluxe crate and 2 phantom crates last year so there is no excuse. I understand that the devs need to earn somehow because of how trash roblox is when it comes to profits, but I'm gonna be honest even though its only $5 in the US at least, this is borderline not worth it for most people. I can't imagine how much it will cost for other countries. They can keep the paid battle pass if they want but they should at least lower the price or give some of the good skins out for free. This is disappointing.

I don't mind if it has a premium track for the battle pass but the problem is the distribution of rewards are all a mess, it makes you feel like you're missing alot if you don't purchase the premium track and the grind to get 40 levels takes so long and then most of the rewards are just fillers and it doesn't even have a single deluxe or phantom crate in it, crazy. The fact that they just lock the discord server every time there is a huge update shows that they care so little for the community engagement and just putting the community's trust in them in the trash. Plus no legacy skin comeback? They promised a sort of thing like that, I just hate every time a tower gets reworked and then they put alot of effort into a skin that most people don't even have is just mind boggling, ig the devs have their favorites, new players can just jump of a cliff

there’s even a bigger problem rn being console ui and playability,the keybinds don’t work,it’s very hard to place towers now and the ui in the lobby is broken to the point u have to rejoin and hope it doesn’t happen again
This might just be where I drop completion for this horrid game. I'm not willing to spend this much money if this is going to become a regular thing. They NEED to make it costs gems or AT LEAST make it cheaper. This is absurd. This is one of the most high quality events to date, but they had to make the most obnoxious battlepass for it too

How to fix season passes: 1. No P2W 2. Keep grinding minimal. 50 matches is like the max, and that’s being generous. 3. EXP as a reward is trash. Give coins or gems instead. 4. Filler rewards need to also be good. They should be deluxe crates, phantom crates, gems, etc. 5. A filler reward is not an excuse for a bad reward. If level 35’s stuff was good, level 36 has to be better.
I hope that in the Christmas event they fix this and don't do the crap of 2 types of battle passes. Even Arsenal no longer uses this type of battle pass in its current events and just one pass with free stuff (and I think that this event, the way it was, was so unwelcome that it will probably be forgotten like Halloween 2023 and Christmas 2023).I really think it's difficult to have an event in which almost 99% of people will complain because there will always be some error in the event, it could be the battle pass or anything else in the event, unfortunately TDS developers are falling soo bad 💀
When i first heard of 2 battlepass, i genuinely thought we were going to have another battlepass with a separate set of skins, and where one of the event tower will be located. Honestly, i genuinely think that making the battlepass seperate where one pass is for the skins, and the other for more progression like tickets, crates, gold, and the event tower. But main problem other than the pass costing more than my paycheck, is that the time is very slow... Now, some might say that it's better to wait for the other nights to be released as they'll obviously contain more candies to collect, but it's also at the cost of a much more excruciatingly long time to grind. Remember, this would be better if it was back at 2020-2021 where people had the time in the world. Nowadays, a good majority could only play a full time during weekends. And knowing the battlepass lasts for 1 month and 2 weeks, and not counting the fact that you'll have to join the game, join the match, beating the said match... You get the idea.
I'm still gonna get the premium pass later, but another huge problem is that when I'm getting ranks in the regular pass, I seriously don't feel excited to get that rank. Instead of me being "oh cool a skin crate!/skin!" I just feel like I'm going nowhere in the battlepass when I'm working hard for a rank that ultimately I could probably get in a fallen match.
There’s definitely a way they could do this without upsetting a load of people, me included. They should make it entirely free to obtain, but have a shortcut that you could pay for to speed up the process. For example, maybe they could make it cheaper to buy tiers since the pass is so long? They could put in a gamepass that let you get significantly more candy corns. The missions did the shortcut system fairly well with the ability for you to be able to complete it by paying robux, or you could just do the quests.
This game target kids mostly, who have insane amount of time, so they'd rather just spend their time, effectively making the shortcut stuffs u jsut said almost useless

They also don’t have all of the time in the world, so a fairly cheap and inexpensive gamepass or cheap tiers would allow them to progress further without spending too much time. A lot of kids don’t necessarily have parents who are willing to dish out 5 bucks on their game, but 2-3 bucks isn’t really a whole lot.
First of all, look at the quality of all the skin in premium pass, it so good and high quality. Idk why people argue over 5$ for those cool skin but if you don't wanna pay just don't pay. You being greedy for asking that kind of quality to be free. Look at ttd or tdx dude

Ngl, some of the skins like accel, mil base, commander, and dj are good, but im still very disappointed. I was expecting more halloween themed skins like the classic pumpkins and skeleton stuff. I feel that they just got humans to dress up and made them into skins. Im also super pissed that they didnt readd any of the past halloween crates. That was one of the main reasons i was excited! I was lucky enough to get the pass bc i play pls donate, but still im not very satisfied.
I also don't like how they didn't bring back ANY skins from previous events. Sure, it's cool that they are introducing more new skins instead of recycling old ones, but at least 5 old ones come back??
I don't mind about the battlepass being premium, they gotta least break even for making a event like this. I just agree with the rewards being super filler and need changing.

come on guys, the devs need to afford their 9th lamborghini this month :( on a more serious note, yeah, the free battlepass isnt worth it at all and on top of that, it takes about 40 hours of grinding to get to that point. TDS gets more and more greedy every update, they've literally worked on more skins then this and didnt put them behind a pay wall, so the excuse "the devs have to pay their rent" isnt valid anymore, they are just in it to rack up profits, end of story.

$5 may be quite small but for other countries like where I live in the Philippines it literally cost 300 pesos and as a kid asking my parents to buy me a virtual skin rather than regular food would get me in trouble. So yes it's understandable that the people who are mad are kids as many parents wouldn't allow there child to spend money for virtual skins rather than actual food for the family.
Filipino here too! I recommend grinding Microsoft Reward Points. It may seem slow at first but once you reach Lvl. 2, you can get 100 robux in only 9 days.
I wish you had to pay the battle pass with in game money and that the battle pass would refund that money in the end. The reason battle pass was such a good success in fortnite was because you ended up regaining the 950 v-bucks you had spent int. So it annoys me how this type of system then becamese wildspread across games but that some just forgot what make it good in the first place. A battle pass that doesn't refund itself is litteraly paying and having to do extra work.

possible ways I'd reimagine the battlepass 1. Keep all the skins on the free track, that's what everyone wants in the end, emotes, titles, stickers, etc. are all on the paid track 2. have the track be able to be purchased with gems. Has to be like a large amount (~1500) so it isn't really free 3. unlock the paid track once you've reached a certain number of candy corn, this number will exceed the highest tier those are some ideas but I really like option 2 as it gives gems another reason to exist and make it so that the pro, devoted, hardcore players be able to reap all the rewards of their grinding, but alas, the battle pass has fallen to the curse as usual, scraps and pocket lint on the free track, practically gold on the paid track

This event will be just like last halloween event cutscenes dont laod and it breaks your camera angle, also updates are now on Wednesday and i have school now, most if not all the really cool skins are in premium when they said battlepasses will always be free lets just hope the event towers are worth it atleast

The main issue is taht they threw the low quality skins into the free battlepass, but the good skins, like the military abseskin, is in the paid battlepass.
i agree with all the filler rewards and the good skins being locked behind a paywall, but what i’m mad about is that ALL THE STICKERS are behind the paywall. f2p players can’t even get any new stickers until the halloween event ends and the sticker store shows up (likely even longer because they’ll end up delaying it again)
Old TDS battlepasses are better. They have no filler rewards, they don't have the paid side. Yeah if we combine both free and premium rewards(not filler ones, only skins, emotes, crates and nametags) we will get a lot more, but don't forget that you have to pay for the most part of those goods. If we compare not filler rewards of free BP to old one tho we will get a lot less rewards.
I just can't say anything about this shit . This is the worst battlepass what I ever saw . And last time below became very greedy owner ( Mako DJ , premium battlepass , so many useless plushies ) . We go to the point when I just don't want to play this event . I did night one ez and hard ON FIRST TRY , and now I haven't nothing to do in this game . Farming this battlepass is MAMY HOURS SPENT ON BORING GRINDING . What hurts me the most , is fact , that In free battlepass I see only 2 COOL PRIZES , warden and accel skins , rest is a total shit and grinding will be torture if I decide to try . Tbh, most people expects the skins/crates/emotes/stickers to be obtainable through the battlepass (just like the old events) for free but TDS split most of the good stuff behind the pay wall so lots of f2p players got disappointed. I do understand that the devs need to feed themselves so they won't starve to death but the price for the battlepass is just too much for most f2p players (especially for those are not in America and somewhere like Asia, it would cost than 5$ for the battlepass). After all, the regular battlepass alone already made the event not worth to grind for as it contains too much useless rewards and the fact that they made us hype for all the new skins and emotes just to put majority of it behind the pay wall. I think they just forgot that most of the players are not even adult and they don't make money by themselves so they can have extra money for premium.

oh im sorry HOW MUCH candy corn? just over 27K is outright horrible... like... i remember the previous halloween event, took me a collective total of 12-14 hours to finish the bp. and that was when i needed to grind 5K (or was it 8 idk) pumpkins... regardless this is like 4/5X longer... yeah sure we have over a month but still... they seriously need to reduce the amt you gotta get to like idk.. 10K at most.

ok yeah i agree a lot here the battle pass (free and paid) has so much unenecessary filler garbo, artificially lengthening it, and the fact that it recquires 27 thousand candy corns, which are NOT easily grindable, since they only seem to drop (semi-rarely) in fallen mode, and (frequently) in Night 1. Battle Pass pickups have always dropped in any gamemode, but now they're so annoying to grind, because of how rare they are in Fallen, and how long it takes to get into an Easy Night 1 match, and we only have 5 weeks to get all that. We don't even get a Deluxe Crate in the battle passes. I hope this is just a one-time thing and that Paradoxum will bring back the classic battle pass system
So we know that the devs also have to live, so they need money obviously. As not many people decided to buy normal gamepasses, so this is the only way they can make money to running the game. People are getting angry about it but they have to get acquainted about it. Also with the 27k candies, I knew it is kind of too much, but maybe in the next few night like 2 and 3, the amount of candies in each night will increase. If not, this is the real issue have to be fix.

The paid pass is a better deal than the deluxe create giving 5 skins for 500 + emotes nametages and other stuff when deluxe crates would cost 1000 for five skins

I know alot of people are upset about the good skins being in the paid battlepass but like it wouldnt make money if it had bad skins in it. Also there are only 4 or 5 in the paid battle pass which means if you beat the free pass you still get like 7 skins. Though i have to agree its way too much of a grind and there are too many filler rewards.
Personally I'm never gonna even bother with the free pass simply because of how much TDS I have to play to get to it. The battlepasses from last year were kinda annoying to grind, but this year is just insane.
The battlepass sucks. First, why are only 2 skins ACTUALLY related to Halloween? It's a Halloween event, and the skins just don't make sense. Second, why even add a premium pass? All the good skins are in there, and it really doesn't feel worth it to grind for some lame skins, and lame rewards without paying money.

One of my main issues alongside the premium battlepass being extremely overpriced, is that quite literally NONE of the skins in either pass are halloween themed, the wasteland looking ones look great, but they have ZERO correlation with the general halloween theme. (also some of the skins are just not wasteland themed at all which is strange to say the least)

The battlepass reminds me of those low or decent quality TD games that have the exact same battlepass layout. (There may only be a premium battlepass because of the devs of TDS needing to be paid and this was the only the way they thought of.)

i mean they do give you 6 weeks to finish this battlepass and if you grind atleast 1k a day you should be able to complete it in the 27th day and if you grind 3k a day it will only take 9 days :/ ( overall i dont mind the rewards ) AND they will include more nights which should give more candies than the first night on hard mode.

Epic Minigames has the same Premium Robux Pass Price, and has 40 rewards too. It's not worth it. So, either I'm gonna buy the epic minigames one, or the TDS Battlepass.

TDS players complain about every single other things. the devs want money, and I don't care, take my money, anything for the game to continue being developed. I do not like the filler rewards, but it's alright, because I play this game a lot. I do think they need to either buff how many pumpkins you can get, but other than that, I think it's whatever. look at how high quality Night 1 has been, it must have taken a lot of time, resources and money to make it. No worries! They have claimed that the Night 3 release will be a BIG UPDATE!!! They will rebalance more maps, add 2 new HALLOWEEN towers and they will rebalance some towers too!
ngl i have a theory that it was originally one pass, but they wanted/decided to monetize it so they split it into 2, added alot of bloat and sent it off. I feel this way especially cause the disco set feels like a crate set, rather than part of the battle pass.
if anything, they should increase the amount of candy corns you get from playing games. 500 candy corns a game would be amazing, but 250-400 is good too.
you also have to see that there are 40 ranks and not 10, or 8 like in older events. The skins and emotes are equivalent to the older events if not even MORE.
I really like the battlepass - but I hate the filler as you said. There are SO MANY cool skins, SO MANY new and awesome nametags, but equally as many terrible rewards. I don't want to grind 1,000 candycorn for 2 nukes and 5 consumable crates at level 39.
The problem with this is that you can’t even afk grind this as you have to collect the candy corns before it disappears and that’s so annoying. Just give us a set amount at the end of the game, that was so much better.

i am FINE with the paywall for the premium pass. 500 robux is only 5 USD. battle pass should've been reduced to just about 20 tiers only, but still remained with regular and premium section BUT you would have option to buy premium section right away, but if you would complete regular section without buying the premium, you would unlock the premium section at tier 1, so you would have free pass but longer, or smaller battle pass but for money with more rewards per tier

See what I think people aren’t talking about is how the battlepass concept for games like tds has proven to be more of a problem than something neat, with the first ever one being notorious for being absolutely awful to do because of the grind to get everything, with two of its crates still being bugged since 2020 missing a skin each, the skin crate system for seasonal rewards was an objectively better system because it demanded you to strive for the same cheap goal by just playing the game/event more and they didn’t take days to do, and you had an equal chance of getting the skin you wanted alongside others because you didn’t have to grind through slog and shit you don’t want to get the thing you wanted, sure you had to gamble a bit but at least the cheap way of getting to that goal of buying the crate only required like 20 minutes of playtime, where as now, even if you get your skin guaranteed, you are fucked if it’s in the higher tiers, because you have to drag yourself through painful grinding for HOURS to DAYS through rewards you don’t want nor care about

The problem isn't because the other battle pass isn't free, the problem was how it was executed. First of all 500 robux is too much (its $5 for the USA sure but its more then that for other countries). Second, the way how they distributed the rewards especially the skins feels like a gatekeep and unbalanced, the free version has only one good skin while the rest are just mid or even terrible, all of the other good skins are in the paid battle pass. The last thing is, besides the exclusive stuff, there really isn't anything special you're gaining (in my opinion), can't even throw in a phantom crate or a deluxe crate. Do not tell me its because its a paid crate, they legit gave out a free deluxe crate and 2 phantom crates last year so there is no excuse. I understand that the devs need to earn somehow because of how trash roblox is when it comes to profits, but I'm gonna be honest even though its only $5 in the US at least, this is borderline not worth it for most people. I can't imagine how much it will cost for other countries. They can keep the paid battle pass if they want but they should at least lower the price or give some of the good skins out for free. This is disappointing.

They give our 37 days, you can get 800 candies (100 per game, 1 game 8-10 mins) everyday and still finish battlepass before it end

How to fix season passes:
1. No P2W
2. Keep grinding minimal. 50 matches is like the max, and that’s being generous.
3. EXP as a reward is trash. Give coins or gems instead.
4. Filler rewards need to also be good. They should be deluxe crates, phantom crates, gems, etc.
5. A filler reward is not an excuse for a bad reward. If level 35’s stuff was good, level 36 has to be better.
I hope that in the Christmas event they fix this and don't do the crap of 2 types of battle passes. Even Arsenal no longer uses this type of battle pass in its current events and just one pass with free stuff (and I think that this event, the way it was, was so unwelcome that it will probably be forgotten like Halloween 2023 and Christmas 2023).I really think it's difficult to have an event in which almost 99% of people will complain because there will always be some error in the event, it could be the battle pass or anything else in the event, unfortunately TDS developers are falling soo bad 💀

When i first heard of 2 battlepass, i genuinely thought we were going to have another battlepass with a separate set of skins, and where one of the event tower will be located.
Honestly, i genuinely think that making the battlepass seperate where one pass is for the skins, and the other for more progression like tickets, crates, gold, and the event tower.
But main problem other than the pass costing more than my paycheck, is that the time is very slow...
Now, some might say that it's better to wait for the other nights to be released as they'll obviously contain more candies to collect, but it's also at the cost of a much more excruciatingly long time to grind.
Remember, this would be better if it was back at 2020-2021 where people had the time in the world. Nowadays, a good majority could only play a full time during weekends. And knowing the battlepass lasts for 1 month and 2 weeks, and not counting the fact that you'll have to join the game, join the match, beating the said match... You get the idea.
On AVERAGE if you get 100~ corns each round each 15 minutes and counting that you need 270 completions with this formula,you would need 67 HOURS...
I'm still gonna get the premium pass later, but another huge problem is that when I'm getting ranks in the regular pass, I seriously don't feel excited to get that rank. Instead of me being "oh cool a skin crate!/skin!" I just feel like I'm going nowhere in the battlepass when I'm working hard for a rank that ultimately I could probably get in a fallen match.

There’s definitely a way they could do this without upsetting a load of people, me included. They should make it entirely free to obtain, but have a shortcut that you could pay for to speed up the process. For example, maybe they could make it cheaper to buy tiers since the pass is so long? They could put in a gamepass that let you get significantly more candy corns. The missions did the shortcut system fairly well with the ability for you to be able to complete it by paying robux, or you could just do the quests.
This game target kids mostly, who have insane amount of time, so they'd rather just spend their time, effectively making the shortcut stuffs u jsut said almost useless

They also don’t have all of the time in the world, so a fairly cheap and inexpensive gamepass or cheap tiers would allow them to progress further without spending too much time. A lot of kids don’t necessarily have parents who are willing to dish out 5 bucks on their game, but 2-3 bucks isn’t really a whole lot.

Ngl, some of the skins like accel, mil base, commander, and dj are good, but im still very disappointed. I was expecting more halloween themed skins like the classic pumpkins and skeleton stuff. I feel that they just got humans to dress up and made them into skins. Im also super pissed that they didnt readd any of the past halloween crates. That was one of the main reasons i was excited! I was lucky enough to get the pass bc i play pls donate, but still im not very satisfied.

Filipino here too! I recommend grinding Microsoft Reward Points. It may seem slow at first but once you reach Lvl. 2, you can get 100 robux in only 9 days.

possible ways I'd reimagine the battlepass
1. Keep all the skins on the free track, that's what everyone wants in the end, emotes, titles, stickers, etc. are all on the paid track
2. have the track be able to be purchased with gems. Has to be like a large amount (~1500) so it isn't really free
3. unlock the paid track once you've reached a certain number of candy corn, this number will exceed the highest tier
those are some ideas but I really like option 2 as it gives gems another reason to exist and make it so that the pro, devoted, hardcore players be able to reap all the rewards of their grinding, but alas, the battle pass has fallen to the curse as usual, scraps and pocket lint on the free track, practically gold on the paid track

Old TDS battlepasses are better. They have no filler rewards, they don't have the paid side. Yeah if we combine both free and premium rewards(not filler ones, only skins, emotes, crates and nametags) we will get a lot more, but don't forget that you have to pay for the most part of those goods. If we compare not filler rewards of free BP to old one tho we will get a lot less rewards.

the battle pass (free and paid) has so much unenecessary filler garbo, artificially lengthening it, and the fact that it recquires 27 thousand candy corns, which are NOT easily grindable, since they only seem to drop (semi-rarely) in fallen mode, and (frequently) in Night 1. Battle Pass pickups have always dropped in any gamemode, but now they're so annoying to grind, because of how rare they are in Fallen, and how long it takes to get into an Easy Night 1 match, and we only have 5 weeks to get all that. We don't even get a Deluxe Crate in the battle passes. I hope this is just a one-time thing and that Paradoxum will bring back the classic battle pass system

I'm just mad that in the premium battle pass they put BOTH THE MILITARY BASE SKIN AND THE DJ SKIN the 2 best skins locked behind a paywall is crazy
So we know that the devs also have to live, so they need money obviously. As not many people decided to buy normal gamepasses, so this is the only way they can make money to running the game. People are getting angry about it but they have to get acquainted about it. Also with the 27k candies, I knew it is kind of too much, but maybe in the next few night like 2 and 3, the amount of candies in each night will increase. If not, this is the real issue have to be fix.

The paid pass is a better deal than the deluxe create giving 5 skins for 500 + emotes nametages and other stuff when deluxe crates would cost 1000 for five skins

I know alot of people are upset about the good skins being in the paid battlepass but like it wouldnt make money if it had bad skins in it. Also there are only 4 or 5 in the paid battle pass which means if you beat the free pass you still get like 7 skins.
Though i have to agree its way too much of a grind and there are too many filler rewards.

Personally I'm never gonna even bother with the free pass simply because of how much TDS I have to play to get to it. The battlepasses from last year were kinda annoying to grind, but this year is just insane.
The battlepass sucks. First, why are only 2 skins ACTUALLY related to Halloween? It's a Halloween event, and the skins just don't make sense. Second, why even add a premium pass? All the good skins are in there, and it really doesn't feel worth it to grind for some lame skins, and lame rewards without paying money.
the problem isn't even the 5$ for premium pass, or the fact you need pay money for it. But the fact that most of roblox playerbase is kids, and their parents never will spend even a dollar on games (but surley will spend 20$ on sweets and candies that will be eaten and forgoten forever) and so half of players can't even physically buy the skins, other half just doesn't sees a reason to get those apocalypse skins for 5 dollars and 27 hours of grind, it isn't even halloween event at this point

One of my main issues alongside the premium battlepass being extremely overpriced, is that quite literally NONE of the skins in either pass are halloween themed, the wasteland looking ones look great, but they have ZERO correlation with the general halloween theme.
(also some of the skins are just not wasteland themed at all which is strange to say the least)

The battlepass reminds me of those low or decent quality TD games that have the exact same battlepass layout. (There may only be a premium battlepass because of the devs of TDS needing to be paid and this was the only the way they thought of.)

i mean they do give you 6 weeks to finish this battlepass and if you grind atleast 1k a day you should be able to complete it in the 27th day and if you grind 3k a day it will only take 9 days :/ ( overall i dont mind the rewards ) AND they will include more nights which should give more candies than the first night on hard mode.

Saying skins are just cosmetics while theyre one of the most important content of any events is dumb, those skins make the gameplay genuinely more enjoyable than using default so of course everyone wants them. Even you buy the premium bp which is just cosmetic for that sole purpose. and why even complain when you have easy money, you dont have the right to judge others who criticize the game if youre not objective in the first place

ngl i have a theory that it was originally one pass, but they wanted/decided to monetize it so they split it into 2, added alot of bloat and sent it off. I feel this way especially cause the disco set feels like a crate set, rather than part of the battle pass.
if anything, they should increase the amount of candy corns you get from playing games. 500 candy corns a game would be amazing, but 250-400 is good too.
you also have to see that there are 40 ranks and not 10, or 8 like in older events. The skins and emotes are equivalent to the older events if not even MORE.
I really like the battlepass - but I hate the filler as you said. There are SO MANY cool skins, SO MANY new and awesome nametags, but equally as many terrible rewards. I don't want to grind 1,000 candycorn for 2 nukes and 5 consumable crates at level 39.

The problem with this is that you can’t even afk grind this as you have to collect the candy corns before it disappears and that’s so annoying. Just give us a set amount at the end of the game, that was so much better.
They could've just sticked to it being free like every single other event prior. This felt like a stab in the back bc of how they put it and even more so that the better stuff in on the premium pass...

i am FINE with the paywall for the premium pass. 500 robux is only 5 USD. I am NOT however fine with the majority of the good skins from the event BEHIND the paywall. i think that there SHOULD be 25 ranks, less filler, but still something other than skins, like emotes and maybe SOME stickers. 27k candycorn to max the battlepass out is ridiculous imo though 😭

battle pass should've been reduced to just about 20 tiers only, but still remained with regular and premium section BUT you would have option to buy premium section right away, but if you would complete regular section without buying the premium, you would unlock the premium section at tier 1, so you would have free pass but longer, or smaller battle pass but for money with more rewards per tier
They locked a DJ skin behind a paywall. This honestly reminds me of that time i miss the Ghost DJ skin and still regret it to this day
They make the grind feel easy for the first few levels, but after that, it goes downhill very quickly

the Idea of making battle pass cost coins or gems is nice the Question is just what would be a balanced cost ai think like 50k coins or 2.5k gems or something like that would be reasonable for an event because it is grindy but it's possible to buy and they still Wana make money .

It's understandable for below since the development team has increased ,not just 5(less or more) devs like in 2020 and he needs to pay his staffs. But I don't think creating a paywall for battlepasses is a good idea, previous events are examples. The devs still have better ways to make money.
See what I think people aren’t talking about is how the battlepass concept for games like tds has proven to be more of a problem than something neat, with the first ever one being notorious for being absolutely awful to do because of the grind to get everything, with two of its crates still being bugged since 2020 missing a skin each, the skin crate system for seasonal rewards was an objectively better system because it demanded you to strive for the same cheap goal by just playing the game/event more and they didn’t take days to do, and you had an equal chance of getting the skin you wanted alongside others because you didn’t have to grind through slog and shit you don’t want to get the thing you wanted, sure you had to gamble a bit but at least the cheap way of getting to that goal of buying the crate only required like 20 minutes of playtime, where as now, even if you get your skin guaranteed, you are fucked if it’s in the higher tiers, because you have to drag yourself through painful grinding for HOURS to DAYS through rewards you don’t want nor care about
I am not really a fan of the halloween event, tbh there are no pumpking or halloween skins what so ever (Just my Opinion)
