I cry every time that CC says "I know every thing there is to know about you and my memory is very long." and it kills me when Hillary responds, "I'm counting on it."
And I say this to my bestest friends when they need to hear it
Ashleigh bawling as she tries to sing along to a banging movie soundtrack is swiftly becoming one of the most relatable reactions.
Proof that every now and then Ashleigh should just choose for herself, the patreon members often don’t let classics like this win the polls and Ashleigh loves the movies.
Ashleigh complaining that "Under The Boardwalk" was going to be the song she walked away from this movie thinking about all day...
Me having simultaneous flashbacks of my own memory of and premonitions of Ashleigh's reaction to Wind Beneath Your Wings: 🙊🍿
@@bettrhalf8006 I attended a funeral once where someone tried to sing it for one of my relatives and I’m not kidding half the people there audibly groaned, most of us knowing she wasn’t going to get through the whole thing (she didn’t, I don’t think she even got to the first chorus) and the rest just thinking “seriously, we’re all sad, why are you trying to make us all cry even more?!”
it's been suggested here in the toobs comments, maybe someone should scrape our suggestions for her, just gotta get her to become aware of leolo... she'll wanna hit the person that suggested it for some scenes yet will enjoy it.
Felt very emotional at the end 😢
I don’t know how you can watch this movie and not cry ❤
A little history lesson from someone who saw this in theaters... The breakout star of this movie was Mayim Bialik, who critics all singled out for her performance as young CC. Based on the strength of this movie, they quickly created the show Blossom to be a vehicle for Bialik.
I was surprised that she didn't recognize her from TBBT
Bette Midler is one classy broad. You need to see her in "Ruthless People" with Danny DeVito, and "For the Boys" which is also a true roller coaster of emotions. Both you will love.
"It's okay to cry, girl... it's okay to cry.' 😊🩷🩷🩷
If you wanna see another Bette Midler classic I’d recommend First Wives Club! It’s so good you’ll love it. Also 1993’s Gypsy if you want a musical 😊
Second this! I think Ashleigh would love first wives club!
I love The First Wives Club. Some of the best dialogue in that movie. "I'm just going to use the F word...Felony."
I really loved both get version of Gypsy and First Wives Club. ❤
For the Boys is also another great one with an amazing soundtrack.
Yeaaaa best movie ever
That "Otto Titsling" number was hilarious!!
Epic tear jerker of a movie. My mother and I saw it in the theater without realizing Hilary had cardiomyopathy which was a terrible mistake since at home my stepfather also had cardiomyopathy and we were waiting for the heart to come in. Luckily it did and he lived another 20 years.
God bless your stepfather, and the family that was brave and generous enough to donate.
She only cried for a minute towards the end
Congrats to the heart transplant.
Yes Ashleigh cardiomyopathy is a real condition. I hadn't heard of it before this movie. 20 years later a co-worker tells me she cardiomyopathy ... and I'm Beaches :-(
Amen! So happy the transplant blessed you all with another 20 years!
This movie, The Color Purple and Steele Magnolias are the three movies I'm hysterically sobbing at the end of no matter how many hundreds of times I've seen them😭
These and another one with Susan Sarandan, Julia Roberts and Ed Harris-Stepmom. Always has me in tears.
@@maryrichardson1318 that part about the daughters wedding day 😭😭😭
Such a good movie and no one else has reacted to it from what I've seen.
Young Cece is played by Mayim Bialik of Blossom and big bang theory fame.
The guy Cece met in the bugs costume played the dad in home alone.
It never occurred to me till this viewing that Hillarys daughter looks like a brunette Cece.
Also the jerk in BIG ☺️
Yeah the play director John , is the Home Alone dad... that where I saw him. Haha, sitting next to the mum on the plane ... forgot something , Kevin!
True about young Cece being Mayim Bialik also in Big bang theory.
Pity we didn't hear her sing in the dance , but at least we saw her groovy awkward dance
This movie reminds me so much of my best friend and I! I have known her since we were toddlers, and we're both in our 60s. We both lived in different parts of the country, and every summer, she would stay with her grandmother, who lived next door to us. We always wrote long letters to each other, back and forth, and we are still as tight as ever! 💖 My husband passed away a year ago, and she had me come up and stay with her for a week. I love her, and cherish our friendship so much! 💖
I love that for you both!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bette Midler's performance of Wind Beneath my Wings at the 2014 Oscars was also a tearjerker!
Oh, that wrecked me. It was a tough In Memorium anyway because that was when Robin Williams died and I was already crying. And then I heard the opening chords and I went straight to the floor.
My favorite Bette Midler is also one of my favorite Danny DeVito, Judge Reinhold, Bill Pullman, & Helen Slater movies "Ruthless People"(1986). It was a huge hit in the summer of 1986 but seems to be forgotten. One of the funniest movie of all time. Danny DeVito is just brilliant in it!
Bette Midler is an utter legend. So talented. This film never fails to make me cry.
For the Boys is my favourite Bette film - moving & sassy! ❤
Ashleigh, I highly recommend the 1990 Dramedy Postcards From The Edge. Its based loosely on the life of actress Carrie Fisher, based on her semi-autobiography, with Meryl Streep, Shirley McClaine, Gene Hackman and Dennis Quaid.
I second this recommendation!
After hallowbeans, going into the "holiday season" for "Postcards..." IMO.
Postcards from The Edge is a great suggestion! I forgot Dennis Quid is in it. She'll love the scenes with him!
Yes Yes & Yes
This made me realize you hadn't reacted to First Wives Club, starring Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, and Diane Keaton! I highly recommend it. I think you'll enjoy.
My mom had been studying medicine before this movie came out. When she was with her friends at the movie theater, she started crying before everyone else because she knew what the diagnosis meant. Also, LOVE Barbara Hershey!
My late wife and I were high-school sweethearts around the time this came out. It was her favorite movie, and favorite soundtrack. Over the next decade or so, she became ill, being diagnosed with Lupus in 1998. In 2003, she passed. To this day, I can't watch this or listen to any of these songs, especially The Glory of Love and Wind Beneath My Wings) without tears in my eyes.
Back in the day, my fav song from the ST was Oh Industry!
The Rose* is literally my lifelong life-guiding lifeline song. I love Bette Midler for that song and the movies 'For The Boys' and 'First Wives Club'. Barbra Hershey is always beautifully sublime. 3:15 my biker-esque brother always watched Bette Midler movies because he thinks she's *scrumptious* LOL It's a secret don't tell anyone lol ^_^ Great reaction, as always you never disappoint xo
What’s the one she did with Dennis Farino? That was hysterically funny and delightful.
Great reaction Ashleigh!! One of your best. Bette Midler did a very good job in this film but Barbara Hershey also did a great job and gave a very understated performance as Hillary . Also the actor who played CC's husband is John Heard, who unfortunately passed away in 2017. He starred in three very big hits: "Big" with Tom Hanks and "Home Alone 1" and Home Alone 2" with Macauley Culkin. "Beaches" is one of my all time favorites and I want to thank you so much for reacting to it. Another great tearjerker is the 1983 Academy Award winner for Best Picture "Terms Of Endearment" with Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger and Jack Nicholson.
Don't forget "The Pelican Brief" and "Cat People", also with John Heard!
Most importantly John Heard starred in the first Sharknado
Mayim Bialik in her first role.
Edit: she was the perfect fit as Bette's young "double".
This movie convinced me that having a pen pal best friend would be amazing, but those fools always stopped writing. 🤣🤣
Great reaction, Ash!
@@Spo-Dee-O-Dee That's so cool!
Oh man, my mom and I rewatched this movie just the other day and while I wasn't only half paying attention, I still bawled like I watched it for the first time.
Someday you're going to wish you gave that moment your full attention.
I watched this for the first time while I had covid last summer. Bawled. lol
My big sister passed away unexpectedly in August of 2021. She loved this movie so much and loved Wind Beneath My Wings. I was in charge of picking the music for her service and this was the first song that I instantly knew had to be played. I had to turn the volume down for that part of your reaction because I just haven’t been able to listen to it yet. I’m glad you reacted to this one, though. Hard to believe you hadn’t seen it yet but I know that the premise of your channel. Lol. Another great video from you. ❤
Big Business and Outrageous Fortune are two wonderful Bette Midler comedy films .
🎶 Ruthless people
Ashleigh sobbing and trying to warble “wind beneath my wings” broke my heart.
Singing while bawling is the saddest but also most hilarious things I've seen recently.
This movie is worth it just to see the breakout performance of Mayim Bialik, playing young C.C., who went on to star in Blossom and The Big Bang Theory. Great reaction.
A Stinger is a cocktail which was created in the 1890's, it's made by adding Creme de Menthe to Brandy (🎵You're a fine girl 🎶) (sorry, couldn't resist 😜) Young CeCe was Mayim Bialik who started in a couple of tv series in 87 and 88 and then in the Stephen King film Pumpkinhead in 88, later in 88 she appeared in Beaches. She appeared on tons of tv shows and in a few movies through the years, but what she's mostly remembered for is her tv series Blossom from 90 - 95, and as Amy in The Big Bang Theory from 2010- 2019. By 1993, while Blossom was still airing, at the age of 16, she had already won a deferred place at Harvard and had also been accepted at Yale, but in the end she decided to attend UCLA where she received her PhD in Neuroscience. She can also play piano, trumpet, bass guitar, and harp. FUN FACT: In 1991, at the age of 14, she shared her first screen kiss in a movie called Sex, Lies, and Teenagers with Johnny Galecki (Leonard from The Big Bang Theory). Full circle. Anyway, loved the review, love you and tell Beans hi 👋
An often forgotten film, that I really love, starring Betty Midler is Ruthless People (1986). So funny. I think you would enjoy it.
From Wiki: the Stinger drink; A stinger is a duo cocktail made by adding crème de menthe to brandy (although recipes vary). The cocktail's origins can be traced to the United States in the 1890s, and the beverage remained widely popular in America until the 1970s. It was seen as a drink of the upper class and has had a somewhat wide cultural impact.
'Wind Beneath My Wings' comes up on the 80s music channel fairly frequently.
Bruce Willis sang 'Under the Boardwalk' and released it as a single, my sister had the vinyl record.
The first time I watched this, I cried for two hours after it was over. Great movie. #3 of my tissue box movies.
#1 Steel Magnolias
#2 Fried Green Tomatoes
I was obsessed with this movie growing up. Even now, I will re-watch this in a heartbeat and still bawl like a baby.
@@kathrynparker9790 I tried to see what you were talking about and found youtube changed something: the number displayed is not how long ago the video was posted but the number of views as of 9mn ago (as I'm reading the number it tells me : 524 vues il y a 9 minutes (524 views 9 minutes ago) ). I liked it better when they were telling me when the video was posted rather than give the number of views.
Another great and hilarious film with Bette Midler that also stars Danny Devito is Ruthless People. Would love to see a reaction to that as well.
I second this!
I was thinking the same thing! "I've been kidnapped by K-Mart!" 🤣
I love that movie!
Haven't seen this one in a LONG while. It was one of my mother's favorites b/c of Bette M.
But. As someone whose wife died, leaving behind a child (our son was only 2 yo when she died), this was not a walk down memory lane. It was a full on run downhill into a brickwall of bawlin' emotions.
Another emotional film, starring the late, great Robin Williams, WHAT DREAMS MAY COME. That is also a tear jerker.
YES! THIS IS THE REACTION WE WANTED AND WE KNEW EXACTLY WHY!!!!!! Been watching Ashleigh cry since _Steel Magnolias_ and not since _My Girl_ have we seen a genuine good fucking cry from the Hot Mess Express Queen Ashleigh!!!!! This has been a long time.... and Ashleigh, WE WANTED MASCARA-TEARS!!!!! Just a shame Hubben is not part of this reaction, because we know he'd be living at seeing you cry at this film, and let me tell you... the reaction did not disappoint!!!!! Yay for us winning for a non-poll'ed film! And we love seeing Ashleigh's hair dry throughout a video!!!
This is one of the most un-hinged things I've ever read.
Patron members ..... Midnight Run ....please
@@burntvirtue Might wanna get out more, LOL.
The thumbnail is exactly what I would expect from this title.
This is the first thing I knew Mayim Bialik from before she was Blossom, she’s so good. Love this movie from childhood, such a good one!
One of my favorite Bette Midler movies is the Rose 🌹 loosely based on Janis Joplin, unbelievable movie!!!!
Great film! So far, "The Rose" is the only film that Bette Miller has received an Oscar Nomination for! She was nominated for Best Actress at the 1980 Oscars, but sadly didn't win (but she should have)!...Since Ashleigh loves Bette, hopefully she'll consider seeing this one soon!💙
I totally agree. "The Rose" is one of my favorite movies and has an awesome soundtrack!
Other good Bette Midler movies are Down and Out in Beverly Hills, Outrageous Fortune, Big Business, First Wives Club, and one of my favorites For the Boys. I think youd really like For the Boys as she has a lot of songs in the movie. I had the pleasure of seeing Bette Midler in concert a few years ago. I was lucky enough to win tickets in a radio contest (thanks Kola Radio!). She is anazing! And when she sings Wind Beneath My Wings it's unbelievably touching. There is just no one like her in the world. ❤
I'm sure Beans is LOVING having all those boxes to fit in! And it's about darn time you did this one, fun watching again with ya.
I’m so glad you watched this. Me and my best friend who was sick with cancer off an on from 25 to 40 was just like those two. I used to tell him all the time “I know everything there is to know about you and my memory is long. Very, very long.” He finally past peaceful after hard but fun and full life 12 months ago. This is very much a movie about how our friendship was.
Young Hilary is played by Marcie Leeds, one of the country's top surgeons. I remember her as Samantha from 80s' series Beauty and the Beast.
Midler's performances were definitely the best things about this film. Please please watch her in the movie Big Business you will absolutely that movie.
I rewatched that so much as a child!
She will love Big Business so much, not only is Bette great, she yodels, it’s so silly and totally 80s but also Lily Tomlin is just as awesome (but doesn’t yodel). Ashleigh will love the snake rattle thing (I’ve been doing it since childhood since the late 80s-early 90s)
@@SareyGamp Big Business came out the same year as Beaches. I feel like Hillary's comment about not being able to yodel was a joke on that.
@@wdtb I didn't even think of that/ I always mentally attached that scene to BB and I thought it was just cos of Bette, maybe it's the yodelling?
@@SareyGamp Definitely the yodeling! I didn't make the connection myself until this comment thread, but that exchange in Beaches now takes on a different dynamic for me:
Hillary: I can't even yodel!
CeCe: What's yodeling got to do with it?
(cut to Sadie Ratliff in BB milking a cow on stage while yodeling)
I haven't had a good cry in a while, so thanks for that. 😂 I absolutely LOVE this movie. My fav song has to be "Oh, Industry" despite the freaky masks which are sooo unsettling. I still have the soundtrack on CD, and I know it by heart. Bette Midler is indeed incredible.
Other Bette movies you'll want to see include The Rose (the 70s version of A Star Is Born), Down and Out in Beverly Hills, and Ruthless People. Her standup show, Divine Madness, is worth a gander, too.
Mayim Bialik as a young Bette Midler is like an all time great younger version casting
-the wind beneath my wings takes in a different tone and meaning with the movie. Great song by itself but incredible with the film
Not sure why it didnt win oscar for best song
My sister and I watched it in the theater with our cousin. I have, to this day, never heard someone sobbing so loud in a movie theater since. We were so embarrassed, we kept telling our poor cousin to stop it, but she just couldn’t 😂😂😂
Omg omg omg omg omg 😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤❤ so happy u r watching this movie!,,, I’ve seen it a billion times and I cry every time still
Fun fact: the blue shirt Bette wore with the shoulders out after the bad movie scene w/ the car. That was Cher’s shirt. She had a few of
Cher’s clothes she would wear on stage.
I love both Bette and Cher 😊
Not Ashleigh doing the vogue robot to a Christmas song lol 😂
Bette Midler and Lily Thomlin in Big Business is definitely worth watching!!
When your immediate reaction to the notification is to go "awh sh***" 😂.
When you know we're guaranteed tears xx
I rewatched this yesterday and I feel like the older I get, the harder I cry at this movie. I also got grounded because of it because I kept quoting Ceecee at like...age 9. It was a problem. HAHA. I absolutely love this soundtrack too. As for the wave, I always took that as her saying goodbye to Hillary. It was her dedication. It was the first song she ever sang for her and it perfectly encapsulates their friendship.
John Heard (John) is the guy who plays the dad in Home Alone.
How long before someone suggests The Whale to Ashleigh? Because that one destroyed me in the theater.
"I'm a millennial who likes to go back and watch your older classic movies for the very first time. ... did I like it, did I not like it, did it stand the test of time?"
Time hasn't tested "The Whale".
@John Battey Yeaaah except Fridays are a free for all...which she said in last Fridays video. Friday is requests. Mondays are older movies.
I saw the movie title and thought immediately “oooo Ashleigh is going to cry” 😂
I love your reactions. I agree that this movie seemed long in places. It's like it was trying to do too many things. Bette Midler was very hot in pop culture at this time, and Beaches put her over the top. She started out as a Cabaret performer, so there's a little autobiography in the script. You should check out her early concert footage. Just amazing. Haven't you seen Ruthless People yet?!? It's a twist on the classic caper and Bette's character makes the movie. It's a bit cartooney, but great 80's fun.
The funny song "Otto T¡tsl¡ng" is an original Bette Midler song from her 1985 standup comedy album "Mud Will Be Flung Tonight"..
Bette Midler has some great comedies you should watch. Including Big Business with Lily Tomlin, Outrageous Fortune with Shelley Long, and Ruthless People with Danny Devito, which is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
I've loved this film since I was little, especially for the music. . I know all the words ;) that last scene with Hilary passing at sunset on the beach, next to C.C....with the wind beneath my wings playing, still gets me. 💔
When I saw this pop up on my feed I was like…oh no….that poor woman is going to cry herself silly today…😬😅. Glad you made it to the end. Beautiful movie with both actresses/singer at their absolute best. Definitely worth a re-watch whenever you feel like getting your insides torn out emotionally speaking. Loved the reaction 🥹
I used to watch this with my mom a lot when I was a kid. The last time I watched it was right after she died. That was 20 years ago. Feels like a lifetime ago.
That ugly cry and singing along is so fantastic. You're just brilliant. 😂 Never change, lass. You're precious. America needs to protect souls like yours.
I watched this in college when it first came out. People were full on sobbing when they left. The incoming people asked us what we had been watching lol
I completely agree with your reaction - yes, this movie feels long. But that payoff. You need to be a part of their relationship for the ending to hit you. Personally - this movie hits closer to home. My sister died of cancer the year this came out. And "Wind Beneath My Wings" was on rotation on the radio. Driving to go visit her at her home one day before she passed, my parents and I were driving when this came on. We couldn't stop crying - all of us. And to this day I can't hear it, even when you started to sing along with it, without the dam breaking. Thanks for watching this. Oh, and fun fact. The younger version of CC was Mayim Bialik at age 11 (y'know, "Amy Farrah Fowler" from Big Bang Theory).
Fun fact: The man who played the person officiating CeCe's wedding was the same actor who was in all the Princess Diaries movies. His name is Hector Elizondo and he is Puerto Rican :)
I genuinely appreciate the judgement free clutter representation!
It may have been said already, but the familiar-looking guy who received the singing bunny-gram is the dad from Home Alone.
John Heard has been in so many great films. One of my absolute faves is "The Trip to Bountiful". Geraldine Page starred in it as well. A beautiful film that I hope you react to one day.
Girl, I still can’t listen to Wind Beneath My Wings without tearing up!
Even in the early 2000's, this was the ULTIMATE "Girls Night" movie! We would sit on my bedroom floor, (later dorm room floor) and pass pints of Häagen-Dazs between each other.
This was my late grandmother's favourite movie. I try and watch it every year on her birthday. Greetings from Australia.
My mom used to put movies on like this when I was a kid as “background noise” for her, and meanwhile I watched this as a child and had my entire life views altered as a result 😅 no wonder I’m such a jaded adult!
I’m still waiting for the sequel, “Sons of Beaches”.
My my mom watched this and Steel Magnolias so many times when I was a kid. Almost as many times as my brother and I watched the original live action TMNT movie lol.
I love the energy Ashleigh has in all of her reaction videos😂 I would love to see her react to Caveman, 1982, Ringo Starr and Shelley Long. She may want to be a little elevated, as it is silly, 12 year old boy humor for the most part!😊
Commenting before watching this reaction. Only film to ever make me cry. Stayed up on my own watching it late one night a week after losing my Dad to Cancer. Been wanting to see how much this gets to you.. this film will always hold a place in my heart and in my head.
Glad you liked it and yes it's definitely a tear jerker. My dad used to drop off my older brother and I at the movies and sometimes the one we were there to see would be sold out so we would have to watch another movie. Well, one time it ended up being Beaches. I was maybe 14 when I saw this and it was probably the last thing I would have chosen but as I watched it I slowly fell in love with Bette and Barbara. Truly a good friendship movie and much more.
My favorite Bette Midler movie is definitely Big Business, an awesomely campy 80’s film with Lily Tomlin. I would love to see you react to that, I think you’d love it! And I second 3kings recommendation of What Dreams May Come with the late great Robin Williams. I think that would be a great reaction for his birthday on July 21st.
Bwahahahahahahaha OH YES! 😂😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💔💔 I feast upon your tears ahahhahahaha 😂 finally justice is served!
at the end, i was pretty sure you wouldn't be able to speak through the tears - and you ended up singing through them. wow
I must say, the few times I've heard you sing along in some of these reviews, you have a wonderful singing voice Ashleigh.
If you cried at this, you need to watch Terms of Endearment. Seriously one of the best films ever made.
I think she did?
My favorite Bette movie is Big Business with Lily Tomlin. Every moment is a lesson in comedy, slapstick, subtle, inuendo. so good.
I totally agree it's way too long. My big Sis was obsessed with this movie. I think I watched it a dozen times. 😵💫
Such an iconic movie. Even though I was just a child when it was released, it had such an impact on me. Great reaction as always!
For more Bette Midler, I recommend First Wives Club! Also has Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn
I played, "Wind Beneath My Wings", for my sister shortly before she died. We both were in tears. 😭💞
A bit off topic here but I, also, have cats who would shred me whenever they had to go into a carrier and then I found these three-sided, collapsible carriers that open on the side and all of my cats just go right into them, absolutely no problems. It's just a lot less scary for them. (I think the brand is SportPet.) -- Love to Beans!
Ashleigh i just have to say, I've watched many on your reactions and I've loved them all. You have such a wonderful effervescent personality and you are hilarious. You have a heart of gold for people and you are an extraordinary young lady. You are a special person and you bring a lot of joy to the world through these reactions. I appreciate you, as i know so many others do. Be blessed sweet lady because you are a blessing to us all. Now, i don't know how much of a reader you are, but... The lady who wrote the novel upon upon which the movie was based ( Iris Rainer Dart) wrote a sequel ( Beaches 2 I'll Be There) and it tells the story of how CC and Hilary's daughter get along ( or don't). It is a great book and every bit as funny- and sad- as the first.
i love the no make-up and freshly showered ashleigh look.
I agree. She is a gorgeous woman with beautiful hair.
I did not need to see this reaction to know Ashley better have an entire box of tissues for this movie.
I don’t understand why every film needs to be fast paced for this generation. Ashleigh isn’t the only young reactor I’ve watched that thinks this way. I love when a movie takes the time to deepen a relationship/friendship or a underlying plot. And yes, I cried when they gave Hillary the diagnosis.
I've noticed this too. I find it annoying. When a director chooses to go at a slower place it allows the audience member to get into that world more and/or to think more. Maybe sometimes the screenplay could be tightened up a bit in some movies. But in any reaction when someone said the pace was slow at times I've never even noticed it when I watched the same movie. One of the greatest joys of watching movies is allowing yourself to "sink into" the story. When it might feel slow to you at a certain point you can take it as a sign to relax and wait. We all need to have time to just let our mind let go of what is the next thing to happen. Either in a movie or in life.
Ashleigh you are not alone, this movie brings tears evrytime I watch it. I will always love this film and Bette Middler singing Wind Beneath My Wings. So glad you have watched this amazing film
You have made a lot of people happy with this choice, I’m sure of it. Also, please watch Chasing Amy.
I still cannot hear Wind Beneath my Wings without tearing up because of this movie... it's so great, lol.
Still mine and my moms favorite movie to watch together ❤ cant wait to see your reaction!
Young Cece was played by a very young Mayim Bialik, who is best known for Sheldon's girlfriend, Amy, on Big Bang Theory. I cry every time watching this movie. I didn't this time, I think, because of the skipping forward and muting of music. The music really draws you into the story. Great film!
Bette Midler has 🔥 Beaches,
🔥 🔥 Down & Out in Beverly Hills, 😎 First Wives Club, 😂Big Business, 😂😂Ruthless People
Okay, late 80s, I'm in the Navy manning the departmental office from 4-8am and workday starts a 6a. On the ship's TV station, they're playing Beaches. During THAT ONE SCENE, tears are pouring from my eyes and EVERY OFFICER COMING ON DUTY AT 6AM WALKS INTO THE OFFICE I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING DAMMIT!
