Thanks for this tip. Someone lost the key to our file cabinet years ago, so we open it by bashing the cabinet on its side and then pulling the draw hard. This is much easier.
LIFESAVER, THIS WORKSS FR, MY DAD JUST LOCKED MY LAPTOP AND IT WORKED. THIS WAS THE ONLY METHOD, I WAS TRYING TO OPEN IT WITH CLIPS FOR LIKE 1 - 2 HOURS AND IT DIDN'T WORK.
My 3 year old put the keys to my new hanging mirror in a blackmore the day I got it right after I loaded it all up. It's been locked for 2 months now and this worked! Wiggle the crap out of that file and it popped right open!
I can't seem to make it work on my cabinet but the nail clipper won't go that far into the lock I think it's much older and the lock is not as thick???
It took like 5 min straight but it worked...omg! Only problem was I couldn't get it to lock back the same way so no one could get into it while i was at work lolz.
