I spend 10-15k monhtly on fuel, I use SBI Octane card and rewards are great. Currently I again got 20000 points which is worth 5000 Free fuel. The only thing I hate is 2500 points monthly cap.
AmEx gives 5x RP on HPCL (no surcharge) per transaction between INR 400 and INR 4000 without any capping.
Their acceptance is not everywhere... Specially in remote places.
I had a very pathetic experience with SBI BPCL Rupay Credit Card. They were not reversing the Fuel Surcharge and not giving committed Rewards, when I got fuel purchase from BPCL outlet. When complained, SBI Customer Service said that the referred Fuel Station was not of BPCL. I had to raise complained to RBI Ombudsman for this petty matter. Finally SBI Card gave me the benefit, but did the same thing for my next 3 transactions. Ultimately, I surrendered this Credit Card within 3 months of the issue. Never get SBI BPCL Credit Card. You will regret.

Regarding citibank ioc credit card, none of the "authorized" IOC petrol pump carry the citibank POS machine. If swiped in any other POS, no 4 points neither is the 1% surcharge waiter. Its a major drawback.

I think, you should have compare SBI platinum with Citi Indian oil for correct comparison
For who can’t spend 2L in a year. Better go with citi bank or In turn you will have to give 1500 as annual maintenance fee with what you get as points.
Also citi is acquired by Axis. I was asked to acknowledge the movement of mine to axis with no change in benefits.
2500 capping for Primary card that is 10k fuel each billing cycle, so can we use Add on card for fuel spends exceeding 10k?
Citi bank indian oil card is waste. Nowhere citibank pos machines available in chennai in iocl petrol pumps. If we swipe with other bank pos machine then no fuel surcharge waiver.

Half baked information and incorrect comparision.
Citibank indian oil CC has a caveat that RPs are accrued only if a citibank POS machine is used for payment. Which is a real inconvenience.
Also, the suggestion that if your mothly spend is greater than 10,000 go for citi card is incorrect. Because the absolute benefits that you get by spending 10,000 on SBI card and 20,000 on citi card are equal. So virtually there is no benefit of going for a citi card unless the monthly spend is greater than 20,000

You can use with Amazon but reward valu is 13 paise insteed of 25 paise.

In this card, if I do a single swipe for RS 15k or 20k will I get the Turbo Points ?
And this card is acceptable in all INDIAN OIL OUTLETS or only AUTHORISED INDIAN OIL outlets.
