Your cooking videos are my absolute favourite videos on the web! About time you did another one!! Hope the real batch was perfect, have a magical day and stay safe!!
Michael Kay is Dedication. Your moment to SHINE is upon you and you are proving why this Channel is quickly becoming an established successful RUclips platform. Proff positive of when you do something you love the success will be endless. Be proud of it Michael.
Looks like fun! I don't think I've ever tried a num num cookie. I did just make (which haven't done for years) homemade chocolate chip cookies. The smell in the kitchen is amazing.
YAS! Brown butter is truly magical, and yours looked perfect. I'll have to try out this recipe. Thank you for so many positive videos. They are really helping me to stay optimistic during this time.
When you heat butter, the solids will separate from the liquids. The liquid part is called ghee and will not become very solid if the room is warm at all. You would have to have a cool room or put it in the fridge for it to become solid. Also, ghee does not brown or burn really, only the solids of butter do, so the brown part in the pan is the solids. Just an FYI.
for me i let them chill over night next day take out to take slight chill off (funny right) cook 12 minutes let sit on hot pan for another minutes outside of oven (to set them) move to cooling rack
Hey Michael! Another reason why you don't chill the dough in the bowl is because the dough becomes verrrrry firm after chilling. The butter goes back to a solid state when cold. It makes it nearly impossible to roll. You could always put the dough in a log shape and chill too. Then just cut disks off to bake whenever you want a warm cookie 💜
I’ve said this before “you could make paint drying fun”! Your cooking with Michael videos are the best! I too made these on Friday. Same thing as yours...I was unsure when they were done; regardless they were delicious!!! Thank Michael...it was a lot in itself making the cookies for me; I cannot imagine taping and prepping to do it for an audience!!! You truly go the extra mile for our Disney Family...Thank you for that xoxo your new friend from NJ Theresa xo
And just like that another very entertaining segment of cooking with Michael. These bring me so much joy. My husband came in to watch because he heard me laughing. I'll definitely be doing the "a little bit faster" dance as I attempt to make these this week. Thank you Michael Kay!
Michael I’m in the Uk, we have no idea how much a cup of flour/ sugar is, and what on earth is a stick of butter?please could you tell me the weights in either grams or good old pounds and ounces. Love the cooking, the quizzes and everything you’re doing to help everyone who is missing Disneyworld. Thanks Carol x❤️
I made some last week and the kids keep requesting more. Definitely more labor intensive than most cookie recipes, but so worth it. I made them with 4.5 in paper cups like Disney does and it took 22 minutes to cook! I may try regular cookie size next time:-) Thank for sharing!
Thank you for the fun. To keep them ooey gooey they have to be slightly undercooked, than you think. Let them rest on the cookie sheet for a bit, to let them set, before transferring them to a cooling rack.
Just a quick question about the chocolate chips: Did you use Milk Chocolate? Dark Chocolate? or Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips? My favorite is milk chocolate - I'm only 2 hours from Hershey, PA - THE BEST chocolate in the world - my opinion of course.
I’m not a baker, so I wish there was a way These cookies could magically pop through my screen so I could try them 🤣😂😂. I may have to bust out the little baking skills I do have and give these a go.
The soundtrack ♥️
I guess I know what I’m baking this weekend! Thanks Michael 😁🍪
Thanks for the recipe! Great video 😊

@@JourneyTogetherToday your welcome.😉
These have definitely been our list to make for quite some time, but they sounded like a lot of steps. They actually don’t look bad at all!
I've learned it's okay to take the cookies out of the oven even when they look a little underdone because they'll harden a little more as they cool 🥰
Yes. I learned that a few tries later

A mighty fine video but a lost titling opportunity.... Num Num Cookies! | Cookie-ing with Michael ;)
I’m not a baker, so I wish there was a way These cookies could magically pop through my screen so I could try them 🤣😂😂. I may have to bust out the little baking skills I do have and give these a go.
Thanks so much for sharing this. We saw "The Magic Dad's" also share this and we've been meaning to try them. They look yummy
Wait michael isn’t it NOM NOM?
I think you're thinking of the song, "Pick the paper up, put it in the bag....nom nom"..... lol
A Bunch On Disney no lol I don’t know that song. But I just thought I had heard mr incredible say “nom nom”...but I looked it up and it was my mistake
@@disneyj8215 It's an old Disney cartoon. If you do a search online for that, with those lyrics, you could probably find it. It's a cute cartoon
We made these cookies earlier. OMG so so good!! Thank you for sharing, Michael. 🙂🍪
