absolutely beautiful collection. such a variety! the one with the snowglobe on top is awesome. i also love finding anything in its original packaging.... the fact that someone didn't just toss it makes it more special. have really enjoyed these videos.
The plateau mirrors make all collections better!😂 They are another weaknessof mine.. Your tape measure dress form went perfectly in the cloche. I absolutely love the rhinestones in the bottle. Thank you for sharing your collection because I am learning something new every video.🩷
What a beautiful collection, specially this video is my favorite one because the “L’air du temps” Nina Ricci perfume bottles, the boxes, the design of the doves, the sophisticated packaging, the whole concept is gorgeous!! And brings me back to my youth, when I was 15 years old (long time ago 😊), when someone gave me this perfume as a present! Wow! If I knew what I know now, I would keep that perfume with me forever! Waiting for the next magical video! Love to you and your family 💖
The large bottle is so huge! That would take me a decade to use up! I really like the hand cut bottle with the zipper cuts. I have always heard the L'Air du Temps like you have is Lalique glass. Amazing how they are fastened down in their presentation boxes. I think I remember the perfume bottle with the snow globe being sold at the dept stores perfume counters back in the day.
I’m so envious of you having not one, but two coffrets of L’ Air du Temps perfume bottles! I have the usual ones of flocked yellow paper but not those lovelies with the birds! And that perfume is my husbands all time favorite! The presentation boxes perfumes come in are called coffrets and you are right to think that they are often uncommon.
@@TarnishedTreasures1 unfortunately the new formulation doesn’t really smell like the original, so I buy vintage bottles of perfume on eBay. I have worn L ‘Air du Temps since the 1960’s and have worn many other perfumes over the years but my husband still favors L’Air - maybe because that’s what I was wearing when we met and what I wore at our wedding!
Yes, it is fancy. I think everything used to be fancier. You could get nice boxes at the store free for gift giving and ribbons and tissue to boot. Everything is very casual now. 👍💕
My mother would always get things boxed. Then she could store stuff in them.Decorations. Nice boxes not the fold out kind. Customer service! Hard to find now.
Yes! My father would take me along when he was Christmas shopping for my mom. We would go to customer service at the dept stores and they had on the wall examples of choices of gift wrap. You could say which one and they would wrap your purchases. It was very pretty wrapping and toppers.
So pretty. I shopped for a stopper for one of my bottles last night after watching your video but none were special. So enjoyable to see all your lovelies. Thank you!
The first Chanel is woods of the islands and the third one is Russian leather. And the other toujours fidele means always faithful. Love, love, love your bottles!!
I have thoroughly enjoyed these videos sthowing your perfume bottle collection! You have some amazing bottles! Have you ever used google lens to do any research on the bottles? I use google lens any time i buy anything old or antique or collectable, it gives so much info on value and selling comps or at least gives enough to began a good research. I've thought about collecting, I've got several really old Avon bottles and looking at your collections makes me want to start with other bottles as well😊
Joy by Jean Patou is a legendary fragrance, requiring 10,000 jasmine flowers and 28 dozen roses to create a mere ounce of perfume. It is super neat to find a vintage bottle of it!
The last antique mall I sold in had a dealer that dealt in perfume factice bottles. I never knew where she got all those large manufacturer’s counter displays. I was amazed by the glass works of the Daum family in the Nancy region of France. Hope you find some Daum pieces.
I love those chanel bottles! Gorgeous. You have a display of clear beads or necklaces in the guest room. I am fascinated by vintage jewelry so that caught my eye! 😊What is the ebay shop? Can you link it? I must not be spelling part of it right
Your collection is taking over your house.🤪😜 Have you taken a tally of them? All are so unique and beautiful. Will you someday decide to sell them? How much (approximate) have you invested in them. tfs Jersey Ann from NJ 😊
I finally got an engraver. Will have to practice on regular glass jars first. Question...do you put designs on first with a china marker? Or free hand? Tape down small stencils? Please advise! Love all the bottles . I dont have any yet that i like.
I use a sharpie to write or sketch onto the glass. I find I like the medium high frequency level and go over the engraving at least twice and then touch ups.
Loving it all! The big square bottle and the L'air du Temps bottles took me back to childhood when my mother had those bottles.😊
That’s wonderful
Oh absolutely! your channels is like time travel .❤

I totally agree! It’s amazing they were not thrown out.

I’m glad there is sone useful info. I haven’t seen a plateau mirror in a while.

I’ve never smelled the scent. I need to visit a store to sample it.

I didn’t know that about the boxes and ribbons.

If there are stores that still do that I can't afford to shop at them. $$$ 😂
The display is lovely. Your old perfume bottles are beautiful 🤩
Thank you! 🤗
I love the Schiaparelli bottle.
I have one of her hats and a few of her clothing pieces. Vintage of course.
That is awesome!

Sometimes I use the feature but I have so many bottles now, I think I wouldn’t be able to remember all that information.
Beautiful, beautiful displays...
Thank you so much 😊
That snow globe !!! Are you going to fill the large purple stopper one with pretty stuff ? i hope your daughter loves this as much as you do.
I haven’t thought to fill it with anything, but you never know♥️

La maison belle vintage on eBay
Your collection is taking over your house.🤪😜 Have you taken a tally of them? All are so unique and beautiful. Will you someday decide to sell them? How much (approximate) have you invested in them. tfs Jersey Ann from NJ 😊
Nope, not selling ❤. Most of the bottles were $1, which has made this collect very affordable. I might have $250 invested.
I finally got an engraver. Will have to practice on regular glass jars first. Question...do you put designs on first with a china marker? Or free hand? Tape down small stencils? Please advise! Love all the bottles . I dont have any yet that i like.

I'm surprised you don't know what Joy by Jean Patou is.
I’ve never heard of it.
It should say lalique on the bottom
If they are lalique bottles they are not glass but crystal
