Parents should come out very strongly on this matter.
Where teachers working hours are concerned, increase the timings of the teachers till 4.30.pm .Let the trs. prepare their lesson plan of next day .Do not harrass the students. Do not interfere with their childhood life . Pressurizing them with extra hours of tym is injustice .
When will the students tap their talents? Besides school education children join other institutions like music , drama , sports , painting etc after classes . Goa govt. should not deprive them of these activities.

CM is under dictatorship and he is trying to implement the same dictatorship in Goa. As a parent my kids never ate mid day meal which is served in the school. mid day meal Pulao is just plain rice sprinkled with turmeric powder. when we were schooling we were thought not to keep books dwn or touch feet but now the students are been asked to keep the school bag down and attend the class. there is no proper hygiene in the school. This Pramod Sawant is a total failure as a CM. SHAME ON THIS RULING GOVERNMENT. WHY ALL THESE OPPOSITION LEADERS ARE QUIET? KAI FARAQ PODONA RE TUMKA ? In USA grades 3-5 (8.25am to 2.30pm) & 6-12 (7.35am to 1.55pm) but there are before & after school program where you can drop your child before & pick up till ~6pm but you may have to pay some fees. But if in case Goa Govt want to go for a full time then there has to be other facilities too.

I agree that parents schedule will get disturbed completely. Whatever is done should be for the good of all. Besides there is no infrastructure. Adequate toilets are required. Children will dirty the toikets there is no manpower to keep the toilets clean adequate water should be available to keep the toilets clean. All these basic things should be provided not do for the sake of doing.

There have been many schools where they have been taking remedial and extra classes in the evening. School use to start at 8.00am to 5.00pm. And they gave good 100% result. Students have completed their higher education.
