Not gonna happen for sure in main series. Frontier is a MMO game, which for sure is the reason why weapons are given much mobility, even potion flex is quick here. I think because of attacks of the monster here that has destructive AoE that needs top mobility to evade or dodge that the default evade and mobility of the main series cannot suffice.
Man they allowed sword mode to run. Now thats how you make Switch axe op. Look at that freaking speed. See people the Real reason why sword mode is slow, is to make all weapons by comparison balanced. If that wasnt the case a lot more folk would use it.
I'm pretty sure every weapon can run with the style he is using in this, switch axe is really good for how much damage it does and the fact that you can block with it, while still being offensive

The attacks I got hit by don't one-shot. The attacks that do one-shot are trivially easy to avoid. I had a sigil equipped on my SA that heals me a little bit each time a parry is successful.
If you mean the weapon he's using, not the style, it's despair boltaxe but I don't remember the name (there's "flash" which is white, this one is the other)
