I'm amazed at the negative reviews of Gtech.I bought mine 7 years ago, when they first came out, and haven't had any problems at all with it.I've also got the Gtech multi which is good too apart from the fact that you have to hold the button down all the time which is a bad design as it makes your wrist ache. I will definately have another when it finally breaks down
Fun vid, thankyou...I have one and a bit surprised to find the foam filter seems to need cleaning pretty much after every use....is that the norm with this design ?
I had the MK 1, it's just started to fall apart, had it for years, poor design unfortunately at the sides of the brush (you could unscrew each side for a thorough de-hair of the brush), the metal component made its way through the plastic, so now has a burning smell when the brush is in rotation, it actually still works, I am not sure if I can simply replace the brush and side components..... That problem aside, the vacuum is excellent and picks up extremely well!
Don't buy from Gtech. The Gtech ar20, product itself has the chance to be one of the best in the UK, however it's has a design fault with the handle which renders it useless after just months of use. The biggest problem with Gtech is the customer support they say that they have never heard of any particular fault before and this is the first time. it's impossible not to have had this fault reported before as the handle is kept on with two very flimsy tabs made from plastic that fatigue and break within months of using the device. Gtech or refusing to to take ownership of the fault and provide a worthy replacement what's more they want to charge customers an extra £15 plus delivery for exactly the same handle that will also break within months of use.
My handle didn't break till it was used for over 5 years!!! and even then two cable ties fed through to keep the handle situated worked perfectly. G-tech customer service are excellent, my vacuum stopped picking up and they sent me out a whole new body minus the battery obviously even though it was out of warranty as a gesture of good will, I will by another one when mine packs in, it picks up incredibly well!
According to a Cornell publication, the answer is ~700 pounds. Excerpt: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? Compared to beavers, groundhogs/woodchucks are not adept at moving timber, although some will chew wood.
A real world test would be better, not crumbs on a hard floor. Run time doesn't mean anything, you should tell us what the air watts are, so that we can compare with others. Pointless review
Batteries are usually crap in any wireless field.... they charge up for so many uses then become redundant. You can try to discharge them, but most likely they have run down too much to be of any use. Kinda sucks to keep buying batteries when wireless is meant to be better that corded vacs.
@@WhatGear What happened next? did you get a repair or new parts sent? did they sort it? I've been thinking of getting one but so many people seem to have faults..

Best on the market. 1..all mess is kept at the bottom, 2…very manoeuvrable, 3 replacement parts easy to get.
Fantastic review no messing straight to the point showing all the benefits too, a pleasure to watch 👍
Thanks Ozzy!

How is your hoover? Still going strong?

That's because you didn't clean it regularly.
The majority of my flaws probably 90% I'm hard floors
And only the stairs and a few
Big rugs do you think it's worth
Getting one
Borrowed one the other day. No hepa filter and it emits dust from the rotating brush part when turned on. No idea what people see in these.
The rubber strip is a real pain....it judders on the floor when pulling back making it hard to pull for my pensioner father,I much prefer the mk1
TBH the Dyson DC19 is actually a decent vacuum...

What is the ar20? I've just searched for it but can't find anything
@@jonchappell7975 it's the old defunct model Jon.
What about the lack of edge cleaning as there is no edge or crevice tool? Big omission
I have the MK 1 and it does edge cleaning really well, no tools.
It's draws dirt in from the front and sides.
Trust me to see this video after buying a shark they are absolutely great on carpets but useless on hardwood floors
Tell us something we don't already know.
+John Gallantree like how much wood a woodchuck can chuck?

Thank you, a girl can dream

LOVE G TECH , DO THEY TAKE TRADE INS FOR NEW ONE PLUS $$$ OF COURSE
+Lainie H not as far as I know
+Lainie H eBay the old one
Well the first one was shit so has it changed I don't think so I would not wast my money

The review would have been better without the use of the word crap.
+Philip Wookey apologies
WhatGear Would have been better if you'd have said "dust and shit".
dope!
+Unicorn Workhorse thanks
Tried this Vs a Dyson V10. The Gtech is utterly shit 😅 in comparison.
Mine broke :(
Agreed the gtech is garbage, dyson are streets ahead in every department.
Maybe but the Dysons cost around the same price as a 2nd hand car 😁
Dyson doesn't give quality customer care lime Gtech. And Gtech are the first to make cordless vacuums.
Gtech code ap 43
nice paid review by G-Tech. So fake! Thanks for wasting time. This isn't a "review". This is a long sales ad.
Sergey Velet I wish they paid me
Sounds like "Everest" when they come over to "sell" their products 😂😂😂
It did horrible on hard floors wtf
+Renzile in the video?
WhatGear it did kinda of didn't do really good on hard floors but I can't afford any vacuums so it's hard to prefer :(
Renzile it the guys defence, he did just blast over the floor. Not the usual slow and heavily edited approach that we are used to these days :)
Paul Bennett true that! :)
A typical plastic load of rubbish vacuum cleaner designed to last for 6 months to a year and then throw away!
+Caterpillar Case let's see how long mine lasts for.

Fcukin hell, how much of loser do you have to be going around different videos crying the same thing
.
@@WhatGear did it last??
Not a review. No impartiality. Just a sales pitch. Waste of time
david emperor It's since stopped working & won't charge :(
