Also Firearms nor firearm owners are required to be registered in order to possess a firearm. Both of my children have their own firearms, as well as most minors and adults in our town and State. Most also have access to their firearms. The responsibility comes from adults teaching them. Just like tying their shoelaces. My daughter knew how to handle, maintain and build a firearm by age 8. If a car was stolen and used to commit a crime why isn't it referred to an illegal vehicle? It wasn't manufactured to commit a crime and neither are firearms.
