But in my experience the best strategy is get a Mac that meets your needs today and will still be competitively powerful in 5-8 years so you get maximum value out of your purchase. You’ll save way more money long term this way as these Mac updates and apps are getting way more power hungry every year. I’m still using my 2015 5K iMac and 2017 MacBook Pro which I maxed out to the highest configuration and they still outperform these base M1/M2/M3 Macs not only in the Core i7 processing power but they have 4GB discrete GPUs which Mac Silicon doesn’t have. Plus they’re both running MacOS Sonoma using OCLP and the iMac has the best 5K display that Apple sells and you can install a custom chip into it to use it as a standalone monitor. Now I’ll get the Mac Studio once it gets the M3 chip and continue using my iMac 5K display with it. So I’ve gotten 8 years out of my purchase and I’m also saving a fortune not having to buy a new monitor.

I don’t usually support Apple cuz of not being value for money. But this here, m2 Mac Mini is one such device. There is no hardware in that price range that does what this can do. Dont come and comment that macs dont game. I know that, but productivity wise, no other device comes close to this.
Did you shoot your video in 8 bit or 10bit?
One problem bro display text small
I got the m2 pro Mac mini
Could you share typr of the monitor pls?
How can people use trackpad on the side? to me it has to be centered.
why not 60fps?
can mac mini m2 base model output a 4K 120Hz via the TB4/USB4 port? i have DP to USBC cable together with dell G3223Q 4k 144Hz 32" monitor
or i should get 16GB/512GB SSD version?
Can you use a imac24 as your monitor? Or what monitors do you guys recommend with the m2?
Depends on monitor. You better google compatibility or test is by yourself. All my monitors are not well compatiable with my mac mini: you can enable hdr or can't have proper pefresh rate, etc.
Connectivity is pretty poor vs the 2018 model. 2 USB-C vs 4.
you can't dual boot. I have one that's the only critique I have other than that its a smooth operator
Use "Parallels".
@@hape3862 some company requirements especially with remote work can't work on a virtual machine especially when its using its own virtual machine and need to know your exact peripherals specs to work. parallels is for the casual user and if its not that important why use it in the first place? so if your Job requires you to work in windows for some of its security apps and allows Mac only if you can dual boot.. this is not the computer to buy.
Mac Mini 599$, Studio Display+keyboard+trackpad 1947$ 😅 why do not buy an imac m3 1299$?
How long did it took you to render this video.
What keyboard you use?
What monitor does he have a video?
When you want to show it off, lol, and here in this corner is my aluminium block with a picture of a chomped apple on it.
Do u have to get specific monitors?
No.
That looks the same as my late 2014 Mac mini
Can it play ultrakill? no
Yes you can
Wait you're Malaysian?
What stand is that?
What display is this?
I would buy it but I still use Windows because Mac is much more expensive
and gaming like on steam??
