#Hacking #Linux #IT - Наука
I think this segment was too short and should have gone into further explanation of why you chose Ubuntu as your baseline distro and what variant you are using (such as MATE desktop) in addition to your personal and professional focus, applications. Penetration testing only or also as a daily productivity driver?
You might want to discuss the Linux addiction of “distro hopping” and it’s relationship to foundational skill development; though for some it's a hobby in its own right as long as it’s done on personal time. But I have seen some folk get so engrossed in “distro's” that their overall work productivity suffers and ability to address critical enterprise issues becomes confused.
Chuck and ham are mashing up love to watch them discuss and suggest together
Kali is dope as heck but I do find it overwhelming at times with how much it's jam packed with.
I messed up the source.list so many times but now I know so I completely agree
Ii am using Zorin is there anyway I can have it like Kali?
Kali is easiest to install on vm and get started.
When im begginer my first linux os Kali after a year using my kali is look like a laggy thats why i change to linux mint
I already bang my head with Kali and Athena os I always try installing new tools that’s how I. Learned ,also installed ptf framework on Ubuntu
And they also so often just say go install Kali Linux and start pentesting evildoers, whithout suggesting any isolation 🤯
Buh I love using Kali Linux, cus that's what I started using 😊
If I could get a installation and not a live boot of parrot sec os, I’d ditch kali. Kali is not that great.
Use what you want, if you dont have experience in sys admin, network admin, cyber security . You will stay a scriptkiddie for ever
niceeeee kali linux for the win
Can we use those tools on Tails OS?
yes but it's useless because what it tails OS if it's not meant to forget what you've downloaded and did on it
which is better ubuntu or Arch for learning?
ARCH = BATMAN & IRON MAN / KALI LINUX = JAMES BOOND & MATRIX
Better chose both
I use now opensuse gnome tumbelweed
Learning what?
And how about parrot os?
Parrot os is just debian with some cybersecurity tools. It's nice and uses much less resources compared to kali. But I'd recommend installing debian instead of parrot os and install whatever tools u need on top of it. Debian is much much stable compared to kali and parrot and supports all of those tools u need for pentesting.
Kali is if you already a hacker
dont interrupt ur guest podcaster. non stop interuptions
True
kali is too bloated for me
kali = script kiddie! 🤣
Go parrot 🦜🦜
