The player did not provide his deck code and let me know that he is still working on optimizing his list. However, you can see all 40 cards in this video if you wanted to put in the work! I scrapped together what I think the list comes to be based on the ratios I remember. Here is the code: 3ED7W
Yes the rune player will lose because the comprehensive rules says if a player is required to draw when there are no cards to draw then they lose. In this case after resolution of Daria. Trail will proceed to resolve in grave proceeding to it's affect to make the rune player draw. Trail is a required affect to draw when pitched to grave.
Luckily, if one is on Chimera, this is an easy interaction to play around. If you stack the bottom cards of your deck (which will happen always), just noting that Trail is in there will help drastically so you can ensure it’s at the top of the stack before you go for the OTK. Learning experience for both players!

@@midwestchief8968 the comprehensive rulebook says you will only lose via deck when you are required to draw but cannot do so. Luckily, Daria doesn’t make you draw - it just places the top 5 into your EX 🙂
YES you are correct. The draw off of Trail is not optional and he should have had to draw. The way the cards were discard made this easy to miss, but going back, you appear to be right! Good catch

If Trail is one of the cards you discard, yes, you will lose 😅 looks like both players just missed that interaction. Happens!

does rune not lose the match by deckout because he can only put 2 into the ex area while daria’s effect says to fill the ex area (aka 5 cards)?
