Hey I was number 179!!!!!!!!! That was at the very end when I went through the rapids right next to the finish!! I figured I’d go straight through them!!! I didn’t tip at any time in the race and it was a blast!
I'm know I'm not alone, but I was hoping to see if you had any footage of bib #s 132 and 134. You were at 6 mile falls wit the drone when I came through. Either way thanks for the awesome video.
That’s my dad at one minute in, one of the founders of the races with his buddy the late Lew Gilman. But of course at the time of this interview, his memories were already melded over the years. But I grew up over the years, accompanying him to Kenduskeag for the breakfast before the races - where I learned to drink coffee.
You could not be more right! I was up there for a cross country sking race this year and it was stunning but there is so much to explore!!!! I will be back there for sure!
I went up to Rangeley yesterday and caught a crazy race at small falls! working on the video know! Sorry to over message yeah I just told you almost the same thing on another video post lol!
Hey I did that race in 2013 and only made it to the 6 miles falls. Man that water was some cold. I work at Oldtown Canoe and they paid for the entry fee and let us borrow canoes and kayaks.
Jeremy T. Grant if you ever get the chance to share more 6 mile falls and shopping cart from overhead, I could watch hours of that: it’s actually hypnotizing

Starting my own league on vancover Island hopefully in the next couple months, probably gonna have it as a 3 hp-5hp tho
