  • After a great stay at Mopani camp, it’s time to pack up the FJ Cruiser and head South again. For the next few days, I’ll be staying at Olifants Camp - another one of the great SanParks camps within the Kruger National Park. There’s an early morning surprise sighting to kick off the morning, before I then get the main drive underway. I discover the Engelhard Dam and bump into my fair share of animals along the way, including some Kudu, Hippo and more Elephants, before witnessing another beautiful sunset in the African Bush.

Hi Graham. There is a gorge near the Olifants Trail bushcamp where the Letaba & Olifants rivers do in fact meet. Was there when I did my trail. Recommend it to anyone, is a stunning view from up there....
