    I am considered a "fall risk" due to neuropathy, rods, pins, stimulator implants, and white-outs due to occular migraines. One nigjt, I was putting a picture ony wall and was standing on the couch. Fell backwards over dog stairs, dumb me, got up, started hammering nail again, fell again, and dang if I didnt fall again
    Tried it a 3rd time and fell to the side of couch and landed with my feet under me. Had to call neice to come get me out of floor. And yep, picture is up on that darn wall. I did, however, stand up from sitting on the couch one night and broke my foot. Still dont know how I managed that one
    😅

    Barnsley sounds like a wonderful place to live and work. It seems like such a friendly community, not like here. The small town I was born it where my family was from was a sweet little town once. It's a ghetto now though...quite sad. Blessings to all~

      I have an older brother with severe asthma. It kind of becomes your new normal, he got in trouble in an ambulance for blowing smoke rings with nebulizer.

      I was diagnosed with asthma some 50+ years ago, but it's not ever been severe enough to warrant a hospital trip. Mind you, when you have any amount of difficulty getting air in, it can cause you to panic a little.
      For me, when it's bad, I feel like I'm drowning and can't get to the surface for air. You wear out very quickly. But I can usually keep mine under control with meds, so I am very blessed.

    6 years ago, I had a mini tummy tuck with liposuction. I told the anaesthesiologist I was more afraid of being put under than the surgery. I was on the table waiting for him to put me under, and next thing I know, it was all over. I had no idea he was giving me the stuff. Furthermore, I woke up and told him he was a dirty rat bastard swine, LOL! It was pretty funny

The negative, entitled ducklings aren't happy until they can make everyone else unhappy. I swear, an alien must have teleported me to a planet that's strange, entitled, disrespectful, and no fun at all. Beam me up, Scotty. 😊 😁

    The old guy with the breathing problems is not the only one who would rather be anywhere except in hospital. I myself would like to be anywhere except in the Emergency department. I will wait until I absolutely can't avoid it. I detest hospitals. I have been in enough American hospitals to know. They are all the worst.
    Last time I went to hospital, I needed my gallbladder removed in emergency surgery. I waited until I had been vomiting up even water and was badly dehydrated. I have to be in agony before I go into hospital.

    • @smc130

      Not a good plan to wait that that. Being dehydrated increases your risk of dying!!

    I'm so glad I never got caught up in the need to mark up my body, put rings in my ears, dye my hair purple, put huge gaping holes in my earlobes, etc. For those that feel the need to do it I won't judge. I'm just saying it's not for me.

    • @FredClausen
      @FredClausen 7 месяцев назад +20

      I’m actually quite sure you are judging those people who have made those choices by the very fact you’ve bothered to make such a remark.

      Don’t understand the point of a comment like that anyway.. it’s not for you.. ok.. but why did we all need to know unless you were trying to make some kinda point or be judgey.. just wanna say I’m one of said people who has chose to modify with hair color piercings tattoos and I can say without a doubt that we would never go out of our way to comment about people who choose not to do these things.. so there’s confusion as to what the point was

    Whats difficult for me with pain, all the hospitals use morphine, which has no effect on myself, my mother, Daughter, Brothers, Grandmother and doctors do not believe you. Surgeons that knew me would order demerol in advance, it worked, no side effects, do not need a lot, doctor refused to order, have had dog ears on tummy and they cut them off with me feeling it all which I told them, but they gave me nothing else, saying it will be over quick, then just a little more, never do I receive pain meds after surgery, refused antibiotics until very sick and even thats rare. I get painful procedures done to me and never receive pain meds
