You know I'm a fan of your voice overs💙 I can't find fault at all cause I see the depth of the 3D blooms with the mica powder and metallics! ❤ Due to me not ever pouring anything and just enjoying the beauty you create, I would only have questions... Like does it matter how deep the first layer is when piping or pouring the petals? I love how the middle is thicker and the outer petals are dainty like they are floating 💙
You say such kind thing and it means so much to have a subscriber like you supporting my creations so thank you. And no the depth doesn't matter. Blooms are usually done in a max of 2 to 3cm depth. I don't think I've seen anyone do it deeper than that
@@dandaresin you're so very welcome! ❤️
Thank you for answering that! I have always wondered if the different depths go hand in hand with the outcome of the 3D effect..
@michellegarza9541 I think if it was too deep it could change the outcome of the flower but ive never seen anyone do a bloom deep. And you are very welcome. It's my pleasure anytime
Your videos, voice overs or other always make me smile and laugh with you!! Thank you!!
Glad you like them! Thank you so much!.
I've never attempted a bloom, yet! I know it's not the colors you were hoping for but it's still beautiful!! 🫶🏼
I don't do them very often. Not a lot of my subs like them as too many channels do them. So if I see a different technique to do one, then I'll gove it a go.. you should give one a go they are quite fun to do. I personally am not very girly, so I'm not really into flowers lol 🙃 but I will do them because it's always good to take yourself out of your comfort zone. But thank you ❤️
I think it’s lovely, very delicate. The blue really sets it off. X
Thank you so much Tracie x
I think it looks really good (my honest opinion), if I tried it wouldn't resemble anything off this planet, you done good girl ❤
Thank you I appreciate that so much ❤️
It turned out beautiful, ms Dee💜😍👌
Thank you, Sudha ❤️
As I’m a professional BLOOMING naff at doing blooms; I find all blooms brilliant… 😂😂😂
Lmfao lol yiu have never tried have you??
I think it’s lovely Donna, way better than my attempt 😂❤❤
Thank you, Karen. Practice practice. I just don't like doing them, so I don't do them often, maybe one a month if that, haha. Yours was pretty good for your 1st try, plus you did it with a very low viscosity resin, lol
Very pretty!
Thank you!
I think it's lovely, resin has it's own rules, I'm learning that now, I have never swore so much in my life lol. ❤x
Lmao lol 😆 haha I try not to swear, but sometimes it can't be helped. There was not much wrong with the bloom. I liked it. It was the colours I picked, and unfortunately, they just merged together. I was hoping for some gold tones, so next time, if I try again, I'll try a Chrome powder instead lol but yes, resin does have a mind of its own, haha. Thank you Barbara ❤️ x
@@dandaresin your welcome xx
❤️
At least yours looks like a flower, i've only ever done 1 bloom that turned out to be 1 big blob 😂😂😂
Haha lol my 1st one was like that, then. It took me a couple of months to try again. I'm not a lover of doing them, really. But if they are your things, practice practice ❤️
Donna, your bloom turned out great. Your giggling was cracking me up too lol. I think the metallic alcohol wasn't strong enough against the two pigment pastes. I think to get the gold to show you'd need to use gold mica or gold paste as well. Petra G. and Julie also will many times put a gold interference powder in with their pastes. Anyway, good job as always! 💖😁
Yeh using the colours I did wasn't the best. They were all liquid based. So may try again with powders instead. Thank you for watching... ❤️
@@dandaresin I think the white and pink paste was okay, because that's all a blooming white is (white pigment paste) and you know paste is dense/heavy. That's why I thought maybe for the gold needed some mica or something. But you probably know which ones work best better than me, so I'll shush now lol. 🤣💖
It's certainly not awful! It turned out really pretty! I wonder if you let the colors sit together to long before you poured?
Thank you so much and no the colours were only sat there cor a few mins.
❤❤❤
❤️
I’ve never done a bloom but, this one looks great to me; the colours didn’t come out how you envisioned but, if we didn’t know what you were going for, we wouldn’t know there was anything wrong with it… if that makes sense? 😂
I’m not a fan of voice-overs, I’m not sure why… I think it’s about knowing that you’re watching along with the artist as they work… having said that, I love your voice-overs… and I think that’s because you’re uncomfortable doing it and your always laughing at yourself!?! 🤣 🤣
Much love from Nat. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Well, with the dirty pour, I kind of know how they should look 😆 and they should show different coloured pettles, and it hasn't. The bloom works fine, but yes, it makes sense, haha.
Yeh, I like watching with real-time voice because I learn better and relax more. I only do voice overs when I have to, and because we have been having work done on the back, I have had to do them. But I'm glad you like them. I'll always be myself regardless of whether I'm real-time voice or voiceovers. If I find something funny, then I'll laugh, lol 😂 😹 but thanks Nat you are always so positive regardless hehe ❤️
Great try. I actually liked the side of the bloom without the gold before you put the blue on top. The pink and white were soft as were the petals. I wonder how it would have looked if you put the blue on the other side
You mean lol a reversed bloom?
@@dandaresin I’m not an artist just an admirer. So maybe that’s what it’s called! I just sometimes think that the lacey soft blooms on the back look better than the front. Just my opinion
@rosemariediamond5948 arrr OK. No its not a technique I'm familiar with and I've seen some that look better on the back rather than the front. But that's just how they turn out. I know some artists who have used them backwards and added a bit of glitter and done a top coat of resin over the top because the back was better than the front lol 😆
@@dandaresin why not make lemonade out of lemons!!!
Do you think that the center had an affect on how the resin moved in the center to make the blobs? Not a fail at all, just the colors were too close. Would love to see you try again😍😍
No, the centre doesn't affect it and cause blobs. The blobs are caused by heavy pigment, so because i drew pettles. My pigment was too heavy to go over the centre over and over, so it caused it to fall.
I wrote epic fail with a ? Lol, haha, the bloom worked but not a dirty pour bloom.. the colours, yes, I think I should have used darkrt colours or different shades. The white seems to just dilute, so I think it was too opaque. I'll try again maybe one day haha 😄 thank you, Beverly, as always ❤️
@@dandaresin gotcha so just the heaviness of the pigment is all that will cause blobs, gotcha! 👍
@KustomKre8ted4UByU yes bane that's why you need you white to almost opaque and not fully opaque because it will just fall.. you need to be able to slightly see your stick through your white. But because I used pigment gold drops and when the Dusty pink that's what caused sinkage but I didn't take all the paste into consideration when colouring and also going over and over a specific spot lol. 😅
@dandaresin oh yes I knew too much pigment makes it sink, I was just wondering too if adding things into the resin like the crushed glass, glitter etc., would pull down the bloom as well once moving.
@KustomKre8ted4UByU no not at all it doesn't effect the bloom..
Hi maybe if you let the resin thicken up a bit it may not merge into each other as much , also doing petals causes more blobs as you go over same line twice, the spiral is the easiest method not to get bloobs, its still very pretty 😍 thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
It's one coat resin it's the thickest resin, and I let it sit until it got to 35c. I don't usually do petals. I was just trying it out and won't be doing them that way again lol 😂 I always use fast cure resin for my blooms because it's better and holds the white better..
