Just to share a bit of my understanding - The benefit and purpose of practicing Buddhism according to the Buddhist perspective is to find a qualified genuine Teacher whom he/she has also studied and train and practice genuinely from his/her qualified Teacher for many , many year according to the proper Buddhist study system. There is a method for students to learn about who makes an actual genuine qualified Teacher. The study, learning and practice is to first study about the Four Noble Truths - What is Suffering? What is the Cause of Suffering? There is a way out of Suffering and There is a Path Leading Us out of Suffering towards the Total Freedom From All types of Pain and Suffering. Hence, the one and only goal/aim for Buddhist Study and Practice is to learn and know how to apply the Buddhist Teachings and methods to be able to know how to avoid creating more confusion, problems, pain and suffering for ourselves and others, and to gradually know how to free ourselves and liberate oneself from root cause of all of our pain, confusion and suffering is rebirth in the 6 realms of cyclic existence and once we know that and are able to effectively help ourselves, we can then know how to inspire and connect to help our family, loved ones, friends and others to do the same for themselves. Regarding the Proper Consecration of the Buddhist Holy Objects is to be able to request the Consecration from a genuine Buddhist Teacher/Master who is well-practiced and well-versed in consecration. The Skill and Time invested in the Consecration is usually not chargeable. The only thing that the Requestor needs to pay is buying the relevant holy items for the consecration according to the Holy Sutra/ Tantric Text and the Holy object (the relevant Holy Buddha statue/object) and then, maybe making a red packet offering - usually offering amount is not indicated. It is offered according to the person's capacity and wish and not with the motivation of giving as a 'Payment' but more as a respect and appreciation to the Teacher/Master and to help oneself engage in generosity practice and creating some merits and that oneself is not taking advantage for getting a 'Freebie' that would then create a negative karmic connection. The purpose of doing a proper Consecration of a Holy Object is to prevent unseen beings from possessing the Holy Objects and as well as to support the Buddhist Practitioners in doing proper genuine Buddhist practice. Regarding about practicing Buddhism to get Worldly gains, for e.g, more wealth, status, fame, glory is not really deemed to be a proper genuine Buddhist practice and if one has only such motivation to gather worldly gains, it is very easy to meet and connect with the wrong types of Teacher/Masters that are not genuine Buddhist practitioners and may instead lead us down the evil pathway and when one dies, it is easy to take rebirth in the lower realms.... The Buddhist Pathways have 3 Pathways for the different Mental capacity of the Individual - Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana Pathways. There is no one Pathway better than another....The Pathway that is most suitable for the Individual's current capacity and readiness is then considered the best for the Individual..... and as the Individual practices deeper and deeper, can progressively move from one Pathway to another due to the expansion of the mental capacity but he/she does not disregard or criticize the previous Teacher and the Pathway....Buddhist Practice is a gradual progressive step related to the Individual's mental capacity that transforms ..... And in terms of the Pathway of Vajrayana - the Tulku system has to be recognized by proper qualified and authentic Vajrayana Lineage Masters o the specific Vajrayana Lineages (there are four main Lineages : Nyingma, Kagyu, Sakya and Gelug) and it is not to be recognized by the system of the Country (this aspect has been misunderstood and misinterpreted).... 我見現在的人，真的非常可惜。對“正信佛教”一無所知。
佛教是一個捨棄世間財的宗教。是勸告信眾不要繼續貪戀世間財，貪戀世間情的宗教。如果有，為何出家人不結婚，為何不能做生意謀利等戒律要守? 我也未曾聽過學佛教要花任何一分錢。
佛教本身也有求財方式，但離不開3個重點。
1.孝順父母
2.努力發奮
3.財布施(不求回報只為救濟的出發點下)
以上3點是佛陀教育裡面的正確唯一求財法門。佛教是相信因果強調因果的宗教。方法同樣離不開因果法則。當然以因果定律方式來招世間財的福報方法。佛教本身並不認同找誰人幫你做什麼法事就可以得到世間財的. 如果求神求法事可以得世間財，也離不開你本分就有此福報才能做到。這些法事，乃至求神而得財，都只是將人原有的福報提前呈現而已。所以才看起來像是求了神/做了法事有效。沒有此福報，怎樣求也還是沒有作用的。

佛經上確實並沒有提過任何發奮努力的字眼，所以佛經上不會找到此字眼。但有提及到財富需取之有道，而非以盜取劫取賣淫販毒等傷風敗德，傷天害理的任何作為取之。故此唯一能做的，又豈不是老老實實的努力發奮乎？
