WOW, Jesse explains the physics of audio better than I've ever heard. Little did I know this short humble video would have such a profound impact on the way I mix 🤯
This is what I've been searching for. As I am getting involved in the audio, I've been learning a lot. The missing piece of the puzzle has been the mastering. It's something I starting learning about in the last week, but this talk really reinforced the need for mastering and explained it really well.
We'll be the first to admit when we've made a mistake... The quote at 00:07:34 is supposed to read 15000hz not 1500hz. Sorry to all of you audio spectrum gurus out there! 🤦♂️
This was great! One comment though, mastering is not mainly limiting. Maybe Jesse knows that, but if he doesn't and would like to learn more about mastering he should spend some time with Anna Frick up at Airshow Mastering in Boulder.
Hello, I am new in this kind of setup, it works very well but I have one problem. When I solo a track its solo in live broadcast too. How can I fix this problem? My DAW that I use it is Logic Pro x. Thank you!

Was just about to comment on this months later. 😂
Hymn
He hit all the right points and really summed up the common problems to broadcast audio most churches tend to ignore.
Jesse is the GOAT!!
This video was absolutely amazing major kudos 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This video is amazing! Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
I mix on 20 year old Harmon Kardon computer monitors with sub, set flat. When it sounds ok there, it translates everywhere.
This is what I've needed 😀 Thanks for this episode 😊
