So glad you included #6. That's a very important consideration. Using only one earpiece in actually cuts your -- perceived -- volume by more than half, which causes folks to turn it up to way more than damaging levels. Take care of your ears! It's the most valuable thing a musician has!
Great reminders! I am DEFINITELY a culprit of one ear out and then turning it up :(...what kind of ambient mics do you use? And where do you place them?
thanks for the yips. do you have a tip on what could be the cause of a change in the in ear mix when changing front house settings and never touching the in ear mix. its a mystery to me why this keeps happening
Sorry one more...you mention the AS10s but the guys over at worship tutorials have started repping “WAVS Custom” monitors for $120!!!! That’s an INSANE price...I waited for YEARS to get custom molded relying on the old faithful Shure SE210s and went with Alclair Triples which cost me about $400 all-in...but definitely worth the investment!
I know, I saw the WAVS custom stuff but haven't tried it yet. Custom molded stuff is def the way to go if you can afford it, and their stuff makes it attainable.
I love watching your videos. Thank you for your time making the videos
Wow! thank you so much. Glad you are enjoying them!

For real! And as I get older it's on my mind more that I want to take care of what's left. It's just too difficult to learn at a young age sometimes.
This was great ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Glad to help!
Great vid bro. Whats the background track? It thumps! especially that intro..
Oh man...I have no idea...I use UPPBEAT for my music...but I use it so much I'd have no way of remembering
@@HeyWorshipLeader Thank you. I'm sure I'll find some tracks I like there.
Nice video. Within your scenario who is actually creating the monitor mlx? Is it the sound guy or is it you as a musician on stage?
Musician on stage thru our p-16's

I can't remember off the top of my head, but I'll get back to you! Thanks for watching!
They are the Shure KSM109’s

That doesn't sound right unless they are sending you a mix post fader which I'm not currently smart enough to know if that's even possible
I want something small like in ear to create sound, you think it is good option for create sound ? More for mix and not mastering .. ?
Definitely

$120 for any custom molded set is an absolute steal! I know guys who have spent $1200 on a single set of in ears. Crazy.

For real! I've never had the funds for some of those bigger brands like 64 and Empire but I may have to check out WAVS in the near future.
I am a worship bassist and I struggle to give my band that huge base-bass sound. Any help?
Do you mean your overall tone going to front of house or in the in-ear mix?
@@HeyWorshipLeader overall tone
@@tchimejosh5333 Do you run direct? Do you apply any effects?
@@HeyWorshipLeader I play direct
...I wish we would actually have a sound check..
Oh man, I know the feeling. Is it a timing issue? or a leadership issue?
@@HeyWorshipLeader Probably a little of both. Leadership could definitely make it happen if they thought it was necessary.
