When something this simple takes forever to FC...
No grace period between strumming and fretting. If you're even 1/60 of a second late with your fret change, you'll miss. With the restart option still MIA, it's best to not worry about FCs until they de-jank that.
Calibration is still an issue, on Xbox at least. Can't have it be as good as RB4's, that'd make too much sense.

colors look sick in this game, and I'm glad the 'pro' charts exist at all but it sucks so much that they're locked to actual guitars :(

Not only that but they are locked to RB4 guitars which means jaguar of riffmaster, such an enormous scummy move by Epic which honestly i wasnt expecting, they must be crazy if they dont fix this soon lol

Less scummy, more they might not want to enable legacy instrument support until they can get PS3 instruments working on PS4/PS5. With how they work in RB4, I'd bet that's the main hold-up.

Hey man, can you play it with the DIY Adapter or do I need the actual RB4/Riffmaster Guitar?
Edit: It actually works, but damn I cant even hit consistently the main riff in All the Small Things, it feels way off trying to switch between chords lol

From what is known, you’d need to do the auth with an Xbox one controller on ardwiino guitars/wii guitars with a pi pico adapter in terms of guitars programmed with Santroller.

There's no grace window if you strum slightly before changing frets. You have to change much earlier than every other game.

Much better than Festival, at least on Xbox. My only issue in RB4 is sometimes having to shift the audio delay by 20ms.
