THE INN ON THE LAKE. An unbiased review of one of the Lake District's Premier Hotels.

We were celebrating our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and finally, after 40 years, our honeymoon, so we wanted somewhere special, with a great location and amazing views. We settled for the Inn on the Lake in Glenridding, which offers superb views over Ullswater and Place Fell, so we booked 3 nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. We paid extra for a Lake View room, which had an extremely comfortable, super king sized bed. I wanted to both record our visit and do a full and unbiased review of the hotel - the rooms, restaurant and bar areas as, well as the lounge and hotel grounds, to see if the reality matched up to the hype.
