I remember that I was very sad when watching this for Liu Xin. To think that Liu Xin got rejected many times for the the people she chose thought that this song was average. None of them knew that this OST was very popular during those times because they do not have access with their cellphones. Correct me if I am wrong but I remembered even the singer herself praised Liu Xin and started supporting her after this episode 🤍🤍

Oh my gosh Xin Liu, you're literally all our mother TT aaah my heartstrings are pulled, taking a step back and having a heart to heart first, talking it out and deciding to just create 2 performances for the audience to enjoy, that's the spirit. Man when they were practicing together woah my heart literally felt full. Also how all the members cane together was so touching. This is probably my fav moment in the whole show
XL really is Queen. Her team were so lucky to have her, even the opposing team xXx
Gia Ce was sooooo underrated!! She had SOOO much potential at this point she had 3 months of training (1 month at Ywy2 & 2 before as a trainee) yet she can dance, sing, and did good for her FIRST time rapping.
Compared to other trainees with very little training she had the most potential
team B for r&b all night deserved that win! flora was a better centre than kiki here, sharon and xinran also expressed the song perfectly! they deserved so so much better

Somewhat disappointed at Team B "Miss You 3000". I'm sorry to say but Zoe Wang and Zizi Xu both literally carried the entire team yet they got lower votes than Air Su who was pretty off-beat and off-key. Still, kudos to all of them for making it through in 2-3 days though

Overall, i think team a performance is better, blending with some sort of high school musical elements, plus ling zi's vocal suits this song well n chu han's rap is good. The atmosphere of this song is like sort of laziness. I think team a expressed it better. Team b emphasized more on sexy elements, and the flow of their performance is so so only.

I think the ranking system has left psychological scars on the Trainees. The 1st episodes it was A-F, then 1-60, each time a girl was ranked low she went onto the next challenge with less enthusiasm. The effort she puts into gaining the judges and audiences approval decreases. Its sort of like the YIPS when you make a mistake, your mind focuses on that mistake and then it affects everything else you do. Being constantly critiqued and being told you aren't good enough. Some of them rise up but some of them drown in their self loathing. I feel sorry for them when I see that they break down and cry. But..... this is the life and career that they have chosen. They need to understand the hardships, if they were expecting rainbows, sunshine and roses they needed a wakeup call.
In conclusion, the ranking system can help improve and motivate but I think in the long run- it hurts them more and builds an inferiority complex.

For the song "Miss You 3000," Team A deserved the win, hands down. However, when it comes to Team B's ranking, I couldn't help but scratch my head. Were people judging a beauty contest instead of a performance? It seems like many voted based on appearances rather than talent.
Upon rewatching Team B's performance multiple times, I'm still baffled. Let's be real here-did people vote for Air Su and Annie Hu simply because they found them the cutest? Don't get me wrong, Anne Hu's rap part was fantastic and deserved recognition, but come on.
The reality is, Zoe Wang carried Team B, and she carried Air Su along with her. During the first part of the song, when Air Su's singing was less than stellar, Zoe's vocals covered for her. If it were solely based on talent, would Air Su have ranked as high as she did? Probably not. Most might say Air Su is visually more appealing than Zoe, but she didn't earn her spot solely on ability.
So, why not give credit where it's due? Xu Zizi not only has the looks but also sang and danced well in the song. She helped carry the team, alongside Zoe Wang. In my opinion, if we're talking about performance, the rankings should've looked more like this:
1. Xu Zizi - She nailed both singing and dancing, and I believe she was underrated in this performance.
2. Zoe Wang - She was the backbone of the entire performance. Despite claiming to be a bad dancer, she held her own remarkably well.
3. Anne Hu - Her dancing and rapping were impressive, especially her rap bit, which caught me by surprise.
4. Menglu Zhang - While her abilities are on par with Air Su, her expressive portrayal of the song elevated her performance.
5. Air Su - Need I say more? If you had watched their performance, you'd understand.
