You missed the use of free retreat starmie, you force the change with the hatterena abilitie to the starmie and then after they switch you free retreat back into what ever you have as main attacker!
I guess it was to justify the increased price as well. I would happily buy more double packs if they included packs. I think it helps buff these decks if you pull some good Trainer cards
Newbie here playing with my 6yo. We've played less than a dozen games with the level 1 battle academy box (Cinderace, Eevee, & Pickachu V decks), and we got this mewtwo/melmetal deck this past weekend. Why do you remove 6 of the 18 energy cards? We haven't made any modifications to the decks yet, but it's not uncommon for us to have a turn with no energy in our hand to play. Is it because of all the deck thinning trainer cards? Good video. I'd be happy for you to point me to a recommended beginner video. Again, we've only played the pre-made level 1 decks so far and I got him a stack of booster packs for Xmas coming up already. Thanks!
Yes, all the trainer cards help get your cards out faster and you can even use newer cards like Earthen Vessel to get them immediately. For beginners, I think Pokemon might have some great intro videos on their Pokemon TCG channel and website that might be worth looking at!
So to upgrade the mew2 deck first discard pretty much everything apart from energy and mew 2 then dump at least 100 bucks on cards then presto upgrade! Hmmm cheaper just to purchase the missing cards and not buy the battle deck in the first place
I'm assuming most people buying these products get the decks first and are beginners, and then want to make them more competitive after liking playing Pokemon TCG. If you're planning on playing Mewtwo V from the square 1, you're right, it's most definitely advantageous to get all the cards instead of starting with the V Battle Deck.
@@ItsMeJoji to be honest i play with my son we have 19 decks between us most of them are battle decks with the odd card switched out for better cards or extra v cards found in boosters, but we have a limit at 2 v per deck at the moment to try and keep it balanced, as some decks still only have one v in them, they are a great beginner deck for fun but utterly useless in competitive play
*NOTE:* I forgot to show the two Boss's Orders for Mewtwo V Upgrades.
*Next video will be the Calyrex League Battle decks! Are you excited?!*
The white border coin definitely looks clean. I'd be cool to see more of those.
Nice to know! I own these decks and it's helpful to learn how to improve them : )

I didn't know these decks came with some packs, guess that might make them a bit more sought after.

I added dialga v and dialga vstar to my melmetal deck, what are your thoughts
Try and add the Magnezone, that way you can accelerate Metal Energy into both of them!

What are the three other cards for bronzong that you didn’t flip
They're the Bronzor I didn't have. Any standard legal ones are fine.
fuck.. its a week when i bought Corviknight deck instead of melmetal
I think Melmetal VMAX is a better Corviknight VMAX
@@ItsMeJoji yea, corviknight is quite shitty tbh.
lunatone solrock best pokémon go deck
Just be careful of Lost City in the ladder.
