I have a personal and work account. My personal one shows up in File Manager without fail, but my work account routinely disappears and I have no idea how to get it to show up as a drive. Gdrive app is running and shows that I have both accounts, and I can use the Gdrive pop-up to search the drive, find a file, but File Manager still does not show my work google account as a mapped drive. This makes it impossible to save a file to my Gdrive from apps like Word. Rebooting doesn't help. Thoughts?
None of these options are working THIS time! I tried to run the install, but it says it is already loaded. please help! Tried near the clock, tried the home folder...??
I can find the folder but my PC won't let me add it to the quick access menu, either by dragging or by right clicking and selecting 'pin to quick access' :(
Greetings, Recently l upgraded from Windows 7 to 10. All my files were uploaded to One Drive for Windows and Google Drive for Google. Question: How do l retrieve the Google files / view. I downloaded Google Drive onto the Windows 10 upgrade, but only a few files are viewable. Please can you help. Thanks.
back up and sync is crap. It now refers my laptop to be another laptop and stopped syncing and showing NO drive icon on folders that were synced. I now have to upload over 200Gb and try to resync this again. This happens all the time. My laptop is now showing it to be another laptop on the laptop and the folders that were synced are now just folders. :-(
I, stupidly, followed a video to get rid of a "failure to load" a certain program. They had me rename my Google file to Google.old and reboot. Now I have lost all my links and my bars.
Hello, how about if I deleted some files inside a shared folder? Am I still going to retrieve it? And unfortunately, those deleted files are not mine, they're from my classmates. I'm so screwed.
Hi! If you have the privilege to delete a file in a Shared drive then you are a Manager of that Drive. You can delete a shared file even if you're not the owner of the shared folder, however, if you accidentally deleted the file, you can provide these 2 options: Temporarily Deleted: On your computer, go to drive.google.com. On the left, click Bin. Click the file you want to restore. At the top, click Restore . Permanently Deleted: Login as the Super Admin and go to admin.google.com From the Admin console Home page, go to AppsGoogle WorkspaceDrive and Docs. Click Manage shared drives. (Optional) Click Add a filter to select a filter option, such as No members or Date created. Hover over a shared drive and click the Restore button. Select a date range for the data restore. If you're restoring a shared drive and want to restore all the files that were in the shared drive when it was deleted, you must select the date it was deleted up to the current date. Important: You can only restore items that were removed from the shared drive's trash within the last 25 days unless you have additional Google Vault policies in place. For details, see Use Vault to search Google Drive. Click Restore Data. Out of date. None of this works. Found Google buried in my Usert\John\Programs folder, dragged to Quick Access, and I see a document icon that doesn't open. No interest in loading another app to get this working, sorry.
Singularly useless. First two options don't apply, still half the video to go. Fine, I'll keep watching... "If you're a business user then..." Nope, but there's a lot of vedeo still to go... But NOTHING if you're NOT a business user. The rest is just an ad for google file stream. Disappointing.
Thank you for your explanation! I was able to sign in to my google drive within the first couple of seconds!!
Nice 👍🏼
Find and start the Drive app. Solved. Thanks mate.

This did not help at all. Completely useless info
What would be more helpful?
Why do you need to talk so fast? Is there a time limit on this or something? Your suggestions didn't help me at all. Still missing my G drive.
lol sorry
