Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu & Health capital of India earlier known as Madras. In entire Tamil Nadu, Chennai is a prominent attraction known for its vast expanse of golden sand and stunning views of the Bay of Bengal.

Breakfast - We had our breakfast in Hotel Greens Gate, Chennai.
Fort St. George - After breakfast, we visited Fort Saint George Museum built in 1640s by British East India Company for establishing the British Empire in India.
Marina Beach - Next, we visited Marina Beach the largest beach in India and the second longest in the world. Stretching for about 13 km along the Bay of Bengal, is known for its golden sands and shimmering waters.
Sri Kapaleeshwarar Temple - Then, we visited the ancient Kapaleeshwarar Temple built by the Pallava dynasty in around 7th century CE.
This temple is unique among all Shiva temples worldwide, as it is the only place where Lord Shiva is enshrined without Nandi. According to legend, Nandi once became Mahadev’s guru at this sacred site, leading to this rare distinction. It is also believed that visiting Kapaleeshwarar Temple holds the same spiritual significance as visiting all the Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Maylapore Coconut Water - we drank famous Green coconut water of Mylapore, Chennai after coming out of the temple.
Swami Vivekananda House - After this we visited Vivekananda House constructed in 1842 by Frederic Tudor for spreading Ramakrishna Movement in South India.
Marundeeswarar Temple - later we visited Arulmigu Marundeeswarar Temple dedicated to lord Shiva located in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai built in the 9th century under the Chola dynasty.
It's believed the Shivling is in white color and self-manifested and very powerful because it faces west.
Dinner at Murugan Idli - We had our dinner at Murugan Idli Shop with their 4 type of traditional chutney's and world famous Murugan Idli.
