Adebajo is so articulate and well spoken. A beacon of knowledge indeed
Wow!
As always!
Brilliant analysis from a surgical-blade sharp mind!!!
Concise!
Direct!
No “faffing around’!!
Complete!!👍👍
Good economic analysis by Tilewa. Government just needs to follow his advice to turn this economy around. Too many people are hurting. Leadership will need to come from the top.
Tilewa... 💪💪.. as usual..! 👍
NNPCL is a private limited liability company so wht dhoukd their debt be the national problem?
Let the "new owners" of NNPCL deal with their mismanagement issues!
Nigerians did not share their "profits" so why should Nigerians share their so-called "losses"...!
Just seeing the honourable Mr Tilewa Adebajo, I knew there was a lot of insight to glean from him about the economic situation.
The short cut for me is for President Tinubu to relinquish his hold as the CEO of our oil industry, allow industry stakeholders; petroleum industry operators, IOCs, oil bearing communities, labour, Min of Finance, CBN meet to discuss issues, appoint an Ombudsman who'll go ahead to sack all the management of NNPC et al and lay the ground rules for a new oil industry that's out of the control of a favoured few but open to serving the best interest of the oil communities first, Nigerians generally with globally acceptable levels of transparency. Tilewa should be one of those to participate in the reform program.
The host should allow this brilliant mind to speak. Stop interrupting your guest, please!!!
That is Arise News for you 😆
I agree others don’t
We have a lot of potentials in this country and intelligent people but political leaders are something else
That is why the country is collapsing everyday due to ignorance personel in the corridors of power
Yes we have people with so much potential who are mostly politicians. They will always do and say what is of interest to them.
Hmmmm

Legends!! love these guys! I'd pay to listen to them on a 3 hr podcast! Oh add Chika M and Rottus O to that list!
2 reasons there is more currency in circulation are mainly because of inflation; people need more currency units to make purchases than they needed in the previous year.
Secondly, there is a mistrust between Nigerians and the CBN in terms of monetary policy like the cash seizures that took place in 2023. And also the issue of CBN introducing arbitrary charges on digital transactions. In other words, the cashless policy is turned out to be an additional economic burden on people, also adding to the problem of inflation because of the charges that some vendors take per transaction using a point of sale machine
Tile & bosson we love you sir's
Competence and patriotism are key motivators for performance.
Fuel subsidy should have nothing to do in determining the fuel prices. And those fueling the head to steal the logic of leadership might face death penalty. Production of such fuel should be made illegal..So Nigerians and those wrongly using them muat be careful. When the root of election from dies, the right person is elected and the nation knows good progress

Greatness dwells in me
Wow. The example of the young engr working for 20yrs , earning salary and not producing any drop of product in 20 years is the summary of this discussion. My God. Sad, sad, sad, sad!!!!!!!!
This is tears-inducing!
Very. Very sad.
This is what interview should look like. Speak to the matter. Listen to your guest make their point and not sit down attacking your guest. RUFAI OSENI SHOULD WATCH THIS INTERVIEW
You are asking questions, stop talking too much anchor, allow a brilliant man to speak freely. You are hacking him please, that's why i don't watch your show like others.
I agree totally
Balablu blublu blabla Republic!!! That same Balablu spirit at work in Thiefnubu starting during the campaigns is finally finding it's way in Nigeria's economy.
Unemployment rate at 5% is a joke😂. That’s way way higher than
I believe it's time to consider bringing back Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to help salvage the country's situation once again. However, this time around, there should be accountability and consequences for individuals put us in this mess.
she was just as corrupt bro
We all do what we do, and say what we say.
Ngozi was there, I remember her stating Nigeria is heading fr recession in 2014.
E no get who go fix our walaha except us
@tmonney7109 : It's people like you who enable the nonsense going on in Nigeria by despising the good and elevating and idolizing evil. The woman you're talking ignorant nonsense about successfully managed the economy and coordinated of Nigeria that was growing at over 8% annually, and the largest and strongest economy in Africa.
@@tmonney7109 I will respectfully disagree, she was not caught with any misappropriation. I would like to refer you to her book "Fighting Corruption is Dangerous" she is a wonderful woman, in fact I will love her to lead this country one day.
@@usman3379u Sure...
Na who no wise them dey catch fr misappropriation, no body who held public office can say he never touch what is appropriately not his, its a big lie. She is no saint, so she has her shortcomings too.
She won't dear run fr Presidency because she knows if she gets there you guys won't believe her anymore.
No doubt to she been a very nice woman.
The nutshell of all this interview is that Nigeria needs a better manager and management in Aso Rock so that Nigerians can breath.
This is the outcome when you have clueless leaders in power. We are in for it.
Why always in a manner of Speaking
Sir, I am not sure if you are aware of unknown naira burried underground or kept in the refrigerators, or been hidden uncirculated in the economy for decades now. Gradually these hidden money are finding their ways into the economy today when one goes to take money from the POS operators one is given such unclean naira notes. Does the CBN is aware of these money in the economy? Are there any shortfall in the CBN records for the unremitted money in circulation? The reason for the above questions shows that the CBN Monetary policy is unrealistic, unreasonable, and unjustifiable by all standards of socio-economic policy. Can the CBN take a second look at the unclean naira notes in circulation, what's going on with the monetary policy, and how would Nigerians be educated accurately?
The country is already in its lowest recession level......where will it recess to again?
Wait o...is it that this administration no get intelligent people like this wey dey advise them abi what is it?
lol… true inflation is over 100% and u say we are not in a recession yet🌚
What kind of rubbish english is displayed on the screen at minute 1:24? "Nigeria is largely a monolithic economy divided into the oil and non-oil sectors", WHAT?? If it's monolithic, why divided? The english needs translation into proper english! I guess it's the fascination with inserting the nursery school level word "largely " that is responsible. Incredible. More importantly, when is someone going to hear actual economics analysis from any of these guests of the media in Nigeria? Most of these things this guest in this session is talking are just chit-chating and unsubstantiated declarations. Government is not doing well, analysts are not doing well, May God Save Nigeria!
